This is exactly what happened to me in my last run and I thought the same as you that its eating equal so its good. Does anyone have info on this?

we started taking em down today.. started with sdkush- the quanity since we doubled the ferts appeared to have doubled... normally one screen is good for 2 plants.. this time the whole screen is covered with one plant.. we will have to wait on the quality of the buds, but I;ve got a feeling...

if anyone cares to comment on our last ref the intake of ferts/water, feel free

Yeah, that's the only real issue I see. But you have to figure, those LeDs will last a long long time, like 3-5 years at something like 75% efficiency? Don't qoute me on that btw...and now how often do you have to replace that bulb? 3x? 4x? At idk, I always estimate low, so 45$ a bulb, that's at least 120+ initial investment of 75$ For the light is cutting into that financing/profit plan a good little chunk there, then you factor smaller/lower fan necesity, lower AC costs, AND it pulls 1 GPW+ at a lower wattage CONSISTANTLY? LED to me eliminates the lighting factor/variable in experiments because it is so efficient and lasts so long at that same efficiemcy

Alot of "big," growers disdain even looking into small spaces, but if you learn on a small scale and can max that out, as you move up in space, logically you will be consistant with your growing abilities/numbers...if you start in a big space and never learn how to max it, then logically as you move up in space you become progressively worse. Just some food for thought:tiphat:

At this point, I've seen too many LED grows on the web and just shake my head .... sorry, there may be a lot of tests using great equipment, most bought and paid for, but the day to day results I see from average growers just aren't up to snuff.

And personally, I've no interest in scaling up. My career lies elsewhere and I'm just a "hobby" grower for over 15 years; I've already got great quality and yield is not a major concern.

That being said, sure, I'll probably give LED a fair try at some point when the prices improve a bit.

And with that, I wish you well.

If LED were that great we'd see a lot more threads here I feel like posting the results. I've yet to see it, a grow solely LED, that turns out as good as a HID grow. Why don't we see more? Maybe I'm just naive and haven't done enough searching here.

well if it was up to me Id just grow outdoors under the SUN ya know what I mean. It really sucks a whole lot.

this is just a few pix from over the passed 4-5 years.
I used to grow outdoors with little to no care and got great results. like these ladies and then some. but living in a non legal state and the smell of the finishing flowers makes outdoor gardening not possible any more. :(

I used to grow a plant or two outside in my backyard every summer when I was a teenager .... they always were ripped off by the time that got really big.

I have these dreams of this private courtyard, that doesn't exist, where I grow giant humbodt style trees like an apple farm and a row of secure greenhouses hold breeding stock and mothers ...

They're actually going to vote for full legalization in my state next year, maybe I can grow under the sun again some day.

Want bigger and beefier buds? Get yourself a HID! A 200w LED light just isn't going to give you huge buds. As soon as you can scrounge up the cash, get an HPS light.

Are you using the FloraMicro, or are you using their stand alone Floranova bloom?
Don't add molasses to your DWC.. it'll be a mess. I'd drop the CalMag too, it isn't needed.

I'd just try to get through this one and take what ya can get. Then, ditch the LED.. get an HID (say even a 400w unit), use Floranova Bloom ~8mL start to finish once under HID light. Keep rez temp 68F and let pH move between a range of 5.2 to 6.2, topping up with plain RO water as the plant depletes the rez. Dump/refresh once you rise to 6.2 pH with a fresh batch of nutes...starting over again with pH in the lower 5s and letting it drift up over the course of the week.

The same can be done with MaxiBloom at 7g/Gal
or the original Flora Series - Micro 8mL/Gal & Bloom 16mL/Gal

Your aim is around 1.8EC in hydro under HID lighting.

*these methods typically work best with RO water, but have worked well in lower EC tap for others.

Are you familiar with the Lucas formula/method? See the below:

I hope this helps.

And done that is the only advice u will ever need 👍👍😎😎

with lab test results that prove higher THC %...

OK so harvested the lady a few days ago. the buds r dry and in the jars. so took a few hits off the trim with a volcano vaporizer
and was high for 17 hours straight. did not like being buzzed for that long. though I was going crazy. just had to ride it out. :frown: :hide:

I've seen your grows for years and it seems like you are overfeeding them every single grow.

Way too much man. Way too much.

Lay off the nutes and see if it doesn't improve.

It's not a pH issue, it's an overfeeding issue. Every grow I have seen from you has been way overfed. Too much N, too much everything. Balance nailed it.

You are overfeeding your plants way too much and they show it.
