Happy 420 all! Hope everyone is safe and healthy.

I thought I would share my final thoughts on my last grow of Oaxaca x Panama and Vietnamese Laughing Grass.

Oaxaca x Panama:

This is the best sativa I have had the chance to grow all around. Between the terps, taste, yield, and quick flower time there is a lot to love. Admittedly, I’ve had special effects in other lines that I enjoy more, but they would never compare in the categories I outlined above. I have had a hard time selecting the best from these four and I suspect the F2 generation will be a great chance to get all the best traits into one plant. I have a batch growing right now in my seed cab and can’t wait to see what comes up.

Thoughts on the different phenos:

Country Time Lemonade and top grade frankincense

Great uplifting sativa effect with a strong head high. Starts in the head and quickly makes its way down into the body giving a warm, relaxed feeling all over. Very high and happy but very comfortable physically too. Earliest plant but the structure is very wispy. The stem to calyx ratio was too high to select her. This is the only one I have discarded at this point other than the clone that’s seeding out right now.

Same bouquet as #1 but much stronger and more condensed terpene wise

Same effect as #1 but stronger. Seems to rival #4 for most potency. Densest flower structure for sure and most resin with the biggest heads. I chose this one to reverse as pollen donor of the F2 generation.

Peach gummy candy (Peach O’s), incense, and sage

Solid plant all around but not exceptional in any category. Very good flavor however that is undoubtedly peach candy. Has a more relaxed head high that’s a bit denser overall mentally. Not so stimulating or mood elevating, more just a solid stoned feeling. Still can’t bring myself to discard her lol.

Unbelievable symphony of terps on this one. So terpene dense that it carries a stink to rival sativa doms from dispensaries. Lemon, lime, cedar, incense, flowers, and minty-gassy-earthy tones. Leaves a smell in the air when burnt that is a mix of top grade frankincense and catholic funeral incense. It’s a fantastic mix of bright and dark incense notes that’s irresistible. All phenos smelled great in the air after being burned but this one is special.

The effect is great. Gives a nice energy boost to the mind and body at first. Thoughts move quickly but stay very positive which can be rare. Strong soaring buzz in the head. Motivating. Really long lasting too. Later on, the relaxed body buzz starts to set in as thoughts slow down and join in the relaxing comedown. Bigger doses can last 6-7 hours if you include the comedown. This was the first jar to be empty. The smell and flavor is absolutely addicting. I’m having a hard time deciding between #2 & #4 and may keep both. A mix of #2s flower structure and resin with #4s smell, flavor and effect sounds great and likely what I would target in the F2 generation and beyond.

Vietnamese Laughing Grass:

I had a few phenos here that were rather plain African types with nothing standing out among them, but thankfully found this one lovely Da Lat dominant lady:



She went 14-16 weeks among 5 clones grown together. Liked to have wetter feet than most. Smell is very unique: berries, camphor, rotten veggies, and spice. As is normal with these longer flowering lines, the flavor isn’t exceptional, but after a few months curing, it smooths out a bit.

Her effect is slow to come on. A semi-creeper that peaks a few minutes after finishing the bowl. It ramps up to a soaring trippy place. There isn’t as much happiness in this as the Oaxaca x Panama but it’s still there. Outdoors, trees and leaves have a surreal shimmering effect, and peripheral static can be noticed in my vision. Pairs very well with shrooms, enhancing visuals without increasing thought patterns. I’ll be keeping this one around, and may even make S1s.

Love your description of #4 looks great as well you have struck gold there man.

zamadelica 10 weeks flowering 11/13 think will go to 12 weeks, carrots and sage smells

omfg beans please

Autumn leaves.. looking like the final week for this bagseed sat. Not disappointed it throws a few bananas leaving a few pollinated lower branches. Probably the reason it's still around.. Sorry for the probably too frequent updates haha

So it was time for a new Pot(bucket), i switched from a 6.5L pot to a 24L bucket. The Seedling has breached the surface on March 14th, not bad for that time.

Hey thanks guys! The Oaxaca x Panama was a gift from Ace Seeds. Went 9.5-12 weeks depending upon pheno. The Vietnamese Laughing Grass was from Snowhigh Seeds like Nexus7 said.

Very nice and chunky man what are the major smells coming from the buds?
Also please post some pictures of the buds fresh from drying if you can.

An extremely pungent sweet lemon/citrus aroma, might be a peppery spice there?,not too sure yet
Initial first puffs, brought a headrush,got surprisingly "confused",then disappeared into my own little paradise for a few hours
Is it a Swazi? Asked a friend T.,for a second opinion, think you are both right
Will come back once I've cured her,and,tested her on my buddies

Sounds like a good one to me its still early of course give about 3 months aging and then it will start to get clearer and the energy rushes should start.
Your in for a treat I am sure, it would be nice to know where it came from not that it matters if you like it thats all that counts.

My previous posts dried and sampled with a bunch of 'selfed' beans put away to keep her around. it's almost as if you don't feel 'high' just jittery then you explore the mild closed eye visuals and realise you definitely are high haha. The strong chemical citrus cleaner smell has developed a little bit of an earthy spice with a dry. A think/hope a cure will only improve it.

Previous year in veg from the same bagseed. This individual ended out 3.5m and pulled early due to a storm. Unfortunately it was so early it was only really good for oil. But it was great oil imo

smoking my favourite mexican haze here. buds smell very citric, lemon cleaner with hint of ammonia, lemons, limes and tangerines, acidic and only little sweet, that is one side of smell, other is deep woody musk with herbal spice which you can smell at cola drinks, when I grind it I got strong smell of these herbs with sour lemons and tangerines. after rolling one I burn it and first my nose detect is lemony incense, on exhale its spicy woody with crazy tangerine on the top, aftertaste is woody cola spices/herbs, soo delicious! after first tokes I feel some energy going through me, gets me groovy and shimmering me all over my body, after half of joint some pressure is coming from back of my head and I start to grinning, definitely mood changer, after finishing joint I get some head rush and it uplifts me constantly somewhere, I have feeling its good place now, wait oh yeah I am pretty high, better not to look down.. elan vital on maximum now, feel like this is my world and nothing can hurt me, what haha I am funky king of the uptown boys and girls, funny tripping too, strict hard hearbeat, huuuge uplift I will not finish this smoke report, I cant sit.. I go.. ecstatic and streaming it- soo funny
