I know the original parents got lost shortly after super skunk first got released but before it got lost was there any breeders who made crosses with it that are still true til today?

I only saw one Super Skunk hybrid and it reeked like crazy. Some local dude was selling a Super Skunk X Bubblegum hybrid in the
mid 90's to late 90's when both of those strains were good. Talk about crazy aroma. Open the baggy and everybody in the room
knew who was holding. I wish I had seeds from that plant. It would sell like hot cakes today.

Where do people hear this type of shit and why do they pass it around as fact.

I did few sensi ss packs not long ago and it was just a bunch of undesireble plants tasting like puke an hay.sensi seeds super skunk is what your looking for if your getting lost.

Sensi like a lot of seed companies have lost stock due to raids. In the day it was mainly rumour but more have come out about loosing parents to raids & other things, it happens.
I would rather an honest bank than one you know isn't putting out what it used but swears blind it has the same parents.
People that used to work for Sensi, well known people have said they lost some of their parents.
I recall a video with one of Bens sons in which he spoke about Sensi & losing parents with Adam Dunn.
So to say it's all BS and hearsay is wrong.
The plants may look good which it does but if it doesn't have that POWER smell that SS was known for then it ain't the old SS ithis person wants.
You havn't mentioned the aroma of the plant you just posted a picture.
As someone who grew their mid 90's stock it has changed just like nearly every seed banks offerings have changed.
It's not easy to try and keep these lines "the same", it's like wine & thats why you have people hunting for the 95NL or the 95 Krypt & so on.

Each to there own man and all what you have said sounds like pure bullshit too me. I've also grown a lot of sensi stock over the years and it's as good as it always was.
People say sensiseeds, the biggest and oldest seedbabk in Europe at least, employ lots of people, sell lots of seeds, that they can't keep plants alive, they lost them in busts, have no back ups? ,a shower of Fkn ejits but some fella with a fancy hippy name in California can keep a clone alive in his bedroom that he got from sensi seeds he grew yrs ago?
That superskunk in the pic isn't a very skunky smelling one, it is strong smelling but its a sweeter. But I selected this for yield not smell there were smellier plants in the pack if that's what you're after.
I grew Hashplant this year aswell and the one I kept is strong as fuck and reeks of that Afghan skunky funk. I'll put a few pics up but I'm sure you will have an issue with something! They are not the seeds sold in 1988 that touched off nevils flute.
In one breath you are saying the fools at sensi can't keep anything going. Then one of these fellas leaves and says shit and you believe him and repeat the words of a disgruntled ex worker? Come on man.

What is interested at late 90's Bedrocan start only legal licence for R&D of cananbis and only medical fro goverment grow.
By some people BEDROCAN mean BEn DRonkers CANnabis.
And from all other Dutch seeds companies they chose Sensi library of mothers for R&D and their strain for Medical Cannabis.
And year after it they bann cannabis seed production in NL and raids start over people and seed banks.
Sensi seeds is not any other dutch company.

Most bad press towards seed companies (lost genetics, different parents etc) tends to try and direct buyers in the direction of mns.
Possible coincidence, but I have my doubts.
As was posted above, I very much doubt a large company would only have one one clone of their plants, in only one location.
I mean, I’ve backed up clones with friends and I don’t Even make seeds.

My friend had a super skunk from 96 that was a putrid stinky near chemdog smelling pheno that he found in a few packs he got in Amsterdam from sensi seeds but let it go in the early 2000s,I like sensi seeds but a few of my friends and I have kept looking thru sensi super skunk seeds over the years and it has definitely changed
I’ve had good plants from many different places- my strong opinion is always buy direct from the breeder or an official carrier of their genetic, as I’m sure there’s some unscrupulous resellers who will sell old or random seeds
Connoisseur genetics are throwing out some fire, and if anyone wants stinky plants then look no further... mostly regs, but I’m trying some of their fems (in veg) right now. Email or pm OJD for direct seedlist.
Female seeds have a few nice strains, And I’ve had some stand out plants from greenhouse seeds- although I haven’t tried theirs in a couple of years.
Seedsman brand are some good ones- all made by smaller breeders, sold under the seedsman name- the peyote gorilla are some strong stuff.
Ak Bean Brains has old sensi super skunk he works with, I have his stardawgXsuper skunk, and judging by the stuff he works with he probably has things like nl5 super skunk and black domina super skunk
sensi probably still makes decent stuff I've been real tempted to try their shiva shanti, but when people want super skunk they want the era the mass cut came from
