In a perfect world that would be great... but who can you trust? I was lucky and met a guy at a party a few months ago and he shares this hobby. He gave me some sour diesel cuttings and last week came over and brought me a 400 MH light he wasnt using. I gave him some of my NL cuttings. Having a little network would be great for exchanging things but in this world i dont see it happening...

I know what you mean about trust. I've also been lucky in the past, meeting a member of CW in Philly a few years back. But he was just in town for a museum exhibit and haled from another state. We hooked up in a public place and after a comfort level was developed, we walked to our cars where I hooked him up with some of my finest and he was gracious enough to gift me a 1000 MH that he wasn't using. Matter of fact, I still have the 400MH I replaced with it if anyone's interested. Haven't had a chance to meet up with him again yet, but that experience and the fact that we still stay in touch leads me to believe that it's possible.
No need to go beyond our registered usernames and mutually agreed upon, easily accessible public meeting places. Any exchanges would come pre-packaged and once everyone is comfortable enuff to spark up, I'm sure we'll find somewhere off the beaten path to toke. Just an idea, but it sure would be nice...

Hello neighbors! I may not qualify for this thread, you see i live in NY, but i can piss in Pa. from my backyard so is that close enough? lived in Pa. most of my life, grown in Pa. smoked mostly in Pa., I figure that that is close enough.
My opinion on the whole meeting thing, would be to meet in Canada. I mean we're pretty close to the border here, there'd be no risk whatsoever meeting in Canada that I can see, well maybe if someone took a lot of pics, but that is an easy thing to deal with.
personally I would love to have a few more friends who are into this hobby. i feel like an island. I know of only 3 others and they are not members here, also they are very private(possibly paranoid) so a little bit of a network would be nice.
i probably would be willing to meet y'all in the US, but I don't think i'd feel safe enough in this "land of the free" to bring any cuts or seeds or weed with me, but at least we would bepast the hard part. actually i'd probably bring weed, no, i'd definitely bring weed, that's just me. hell i might even know of an out of the way place, very private, but still public (i know that's an oxymoron) nearest 5-0 is at least 45 miles away.
I will be watching this thread closely, keep it going please.

You're not the first close neighbor to weigh in. The more the merrier! I feel you about Canada, but it's at least 10 hrs from here and I have to admit, I get more nervous going thru the border with seeds than I do when I travel by air with weed. I've purchased seeds from Toronto and Quebec and the thought of border patrol rooting thru my shit was enuff to make me twitch.
We don't even have to bring cuts, that's what USPS is for, but I feel ya about the weed, I take it everywhere. And believe it or not, we don't even have to be remote to smoke in/around Philly. AFOAF once lit up on South St. and when two cops strolled by, one said to the other "I wish he'd put that out before we have to arrest him." That was it; they kept walking and so did he. Not sure that'll happen today, but point is, we can always find a spot to smoke without too much trouble. Remote's cool, but I'd love to grab a bite and talk shit, trade stories, techniques, all that sort of crap. And still get home for dinner. The missus hates overnites.

I really wish there was a way to meet people at some neutral spot without security risk. Clone/seed trading and just general community building would be nice.

middies oughk wont smoke em i never had any prob gettin some kind nugs g-13 right now im on my first grow and have 10 hawaiian snow babies right now growin up there 2 1/2 inches lookin great
imagine if everyone got up and had a tri state cup maybe in the future we can show all the hard work we put in with others
