Currently listening to Curtis Mayfield, but lyrically, anything by Iron and Wine. The imagery in his lyrics really sets the mood for a peaceful day ahead. I used to listen to "Our Endless Numbered Days" every day on the way to work for about a year, and it truly improved my outlook each day. The album cover is an impressionist painting of Sam Beam laying his head down on the grass, and it couldn't be a more perfect image to sum up the entire theme of the album.. a lazy summer day.
