I'm feeding 6x is it necessary to drain?
Or just keep it moist?

Not necessary to drain. Not necessary to feed 6 times. Once a day is plenty. fill up the rez and let them drink 'til it's empty. The wet/dry cycle stimulates them.

Wet/moist to be sure, no dry for coco, salts get all fucky.
