Is this for essential oil steam extraction? If so, a cheaper alternative to the reaction vessel could be a large chromatography reservoir flask with 50/40 mouth that is directly over boiling flask on mantle/hot plate:

Thanks SkyHighler and WaterFarmFan, reactor vessel with bottom connector is exactly what I'm looking for for vacuum cold (~40C) steam distillation of terpenes.

Keep us updated on the gear that you get. It seems stainless tri-clamp might be a more robust solution if looking to process more material.

Have you ever thought about using a vacuum oven as your "reactor vessel" to volatize terpenes? Also, you should research heated nitrogen versus steamed water, with the later soaking plant material and making it more difficult to cleanly extract cannabinoids.
