In FL and MA is now the time for actual activism, which in the real world means to lawyer up, spend that $$$ on a bad ass lawyer willing to take the legislation to court over the fact that the legislation is trying to circumvent the will of the people that have voted and won.

Question is: who has the pockets and will to do it?

You can bet that's exactly what John Morgan is waiting for. Why do you think he wrote such a shitty medical law in the first place?

Well it looks like the good old boys in Tallahassee have fucked us again:

http://www.miaminewtimes.com/news/f...rewed-after-bill-fails-in-tallahassee-9333318

I know I'm an old fart and my memory ain't what it used to be but I swear I don't remember learning in civics class how 70+% of the people can vote affirmatively on an amendment to the State Constitution and the Legislature fail to implement the will of the people. This shit show is going to be played out in the courts for years to come. Meanwhile, on the home front...indoor stealth it has been, indoor stealth it will continue to be. Fuck 'em.

It's John Morgan's fault. He wrote a shitty law with no details on how to implement it. You know he is an attorney right? Hmmm. No reason to blame the legislature this time. If you read the law before you voted on it, then you shouldn't be surprised.

Florida passed a law permitting medical marijuana and this jackass is trying to make it impossible to use.

New Jersey 8 years ago passed it. Christie perverted it to the point 102 people in the state were eligible and probably in coma's.

www.floridiansforfreedom.org/index.php/downloadable-pdfs/rightofadultstocannabis all FL people go there and sign this send it in and most importantly vote. If we pass this amendment we can truely win and tell them fuck you i wont do what you tell me.

This petition is garbage man. Again, just like amendment 2, this petition offers no details on how to regulate cannabis. They actually state on their website that Florida lawmakers will decide how to implement the law.

From their website:

"Once legal, we can count on our lawmakers to spend decades fine tuning the policies to protect public safety. Patients who are suffering now don't have decades to wait. This amendment answers their need by allowing them to put a seed in the ground."

"...Just like we regulate guns, alcohol or tobacco, lawmakers will regulate cannabis. Private property is just that - private; rental homes, apartment buildings, homeowners associations and government-owned land will only have cultivation if the owner doesn’t prohibit it in the lease."

How about putting a little more effort into writing a law so lawmakers don't have to think so much?

This petition is a little better: http://www.regulateflorida.com/

For comparison:

Heres the deal with the floridians for freedom amendment if it passes and you own your own property then you can grow. No one can say its not allowed here not the city not the county and not the state it would be in the state constitution and only feds could legally do shit. Selling is a different story and will be left up to the state county and city. The regulate florida bill does not guarantee us the right to grow on our property without a licence and your local city or county allowing it. I also wouldnt be allowed to participate because of a felony pertaining to cannabis or I might be able to if the state allows it(yeah right). Im signing both but hope that floridians for freedom gets on the ballot because then I could at least grow however much I want for me without anyones permission and no chance of my property being stolen from me. By the way as it stands if you grow and have a med rec in florida and get busted there aint no way theyre getting a conviction and after enough failed prosecutions they will give up. Enough people gotta be willing to be martyred and not take the deals they offer and waste all the resources possible on failed attemps to prosecute. Problem is the only people with nothing to loose have no money for a good lawyer. Come on John Morgan do some pro-bono work and get your lawyer buddies to do the same then shit will change.

Regulate Florida does not specify prior felony convictions, nor give local municipalities the right to restrict you from growing your own.

From the "personal use" section of the Regulate Florida petition:

(c) Personal use of cannabis. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the following acts are not unlawful and shall not be an offense under Florida law or the law of any county or municipality within Florida or bea basis for seizure or forfeiture of assets under Florida law for persons twenty-one years of age or older. These are minimum quantities, subject to increase by state, county, or municipal legislation, but not subject to decrease:

(1)
Possessing, using, displaying, purchasing, or transporting cannabis, and cannabis products in quantities reasonably indicative of personal use or for use by household members;

(2)
Growing six mature flowering cannabis plants per household member twenty-one years of age or older and possessing the har
vest therefrom, provided the growing takes place indoors or in a locked greenhouse and the cannabis grown is not made available for sale; outdo
or growing for personal consumption is not herein permitted statewide, but may be permitted locally if approved by legislation created at the
county or municipal level; nothing in this subsection shall prevent the state legislature from creating laws that permit outdoor growing for pers o
nal consumption;

(3)
Transfer of one ounce or less of cannabis without remuneration to a person who is twenty-one years of age or older;

(4)
Allowing or restricting consumption of cannabis within a private business establishment or on its premises consistent with this section; or

(5)
Assisting another person who is twenty-one years of age or older in any of the acts described in paragraphs (1) through (5) of this subsection.

I have signed both but still am pushing for floridians for freedom because you have the right to grow outdoors on your property. My fam has been here a long long time and the yanks have moved in all around and already have basically ruined my area and theres no way they will let me grow. I dont want and will not need to ask permission to grow however much I want outdoors on my property as long as I dont sell it. These assholes around here will chop down your 100 year old fruit tree if its hanging over a corner of their property because they can well its time to be able to do what I want cuz I can. It would be pretty fucking retarded to live in florida and not grow outdoors and Im rural btw and its still would never be allowed here without paying off someone. And I do believe this will keep me from being allowed to participate
That no license under this section shall be issued to any person, director, member, partner, or joint venturor who has been convicted of a felony
offense, except that if the licensing authority determines that the applicant or licensee is otherwise suitable to be issued a license and granting the
license would not compromise public safety. In making this determination the licensing authority shall conduct a thorough review of the nature of the
crime, conviction, circumstances, and evidence of rehabilitation of the applicant, and shall evaluate the suitability of the applicant or licensee to be
issued a license based on the evidence found through the review. In determining which offenses are substantially related to the qualifications,
functions, or duties of the business or profession for which the application is made, the licensing authority shall include a ny felony conviction.
I think skeletor and Adam Putnam will protect the monopoly of their buddies/donors and use that to keep out the people that need to benefit because they suffered for this plant. And fuck 6 plants I want at least 60000 to do some proper selective breeding.
