Bushmans / Blueberry / Lemon Skunk - selecting mothers

Thanx. the seeds are from cannapot, breeder ist ape origin...
text from cannapot:

Many thanks to ApeOrigin for this superb and perfect sativa landrace - Bushmans is not dead, Bushmans is still alive with the best quality ever.

Bushmans is a pure Sativa form southafrican Highlands - from Ciskei! Recommended for indoor- and outdoorgrowers! This strain has a very great smell reminds on liqueur with a touch of vanilla!

This Bushmans by Origin Seeds is a recommended strain for outdoorgrowers who want to have the very nice sativasmell! They improved the quality of the seeds and the result is an outstanding sativa for indoors and outdoors! 10 Seeds / Pack

Isnt Bushmans supposed to be A pure LAndrace Sativa?? It looks like it is genetically part indica like 60/40sativa lol

ok thanks for clarifying, breeders make eish confusing when they rename strains.

@Dakine it probably does have some indica in it,the leaves look abit fatter then a 'pure sativa' , none the less its still a South African landrace.

and just to throw another spanner in the works i believe "pondo mystic" by Seeds of Africa is most likely "Bushmans" too which is "Ciskei" which is actually Transkei pronounced Trance Sky
lol
anyways man nice grow

but the floweringtime by "pondo" ist 98 days...bushmans need 48 days..

but you are right, I've an indica and sativa phenotype. what you can't see at the photos is that the 2 indika bushmans stands on 13 cm hight step...so the tops can have the same distance to the light...I'll give you some detaild info about the size whan I'm back...

it's Floweringday 51:

Overview:

Lemon Skunk:

Bushmans:

On one on the Bushmans I found 2 Bananas...Bummer, this is the fastest plant and the one with the best smell in my opinion...but anyway, the other are also smelling well, the sativa phenos more fruity and the indica phenose more spicie...and fore sure, I like the Lemon Skunk ... The LS needs one week longer to finish I think....

The plants are in good condition, loosing some leaves but they are still very green... they get only water since 11 days...

peace

The 4 bushmans are similar to each other but have different taste. 2 are very fruity, one is very spicy and one between...

the dna lemon-skunk is very skunky and is not like a usual lemon-skunk I'v smoked. its something special, I like

HI!
Well done :)

I was just reading the report and gave the informations to ApeOrigin - as Bushmans (https://www.cannapot.com/shop/cannabis-seeds/apeorigin-seeds/apeorigin-regular/bushmans_seeds.html) is a pure landrace it is pretty normal that there are a few phenotypes but it has to be said that it is a 100% Sativa

In the early 2000 (till the end of 2004) Bushmans was bred by Herbaria Seeds from Switzerland - it found the way to Austria where it is maybe the most cloned strain all time --- together with the Cinderella (https://www.cannapot.com/shop/cannabis-seeds/bros-grimm/cinderella-xx-8-female_seeds.html) it is the fastest 100% Sativa

Thanks again for the report - also from ApeOrigin :)

vertie-bertie I know I'm super late to the thread but you killed blueberry because it smelled like poison. Do you know how wrong that sounds?? lol That sounded like some killer bud right there and you killed it. That was death, that was the holy grail of blueberry.. smh R.I.P.

High

I'm very sure, that this smell wasn't the holy grail ;) and the smell was not the only problem - there was no resin on the leaves...

but, this is selecting: you never reely know, what you are throwing away, if you dont grow until the end.

Btw
I'll let you see these days few outdoorpictures of bushman 2, 6 and 7.

peace

PS: yes, its a pure sativa and the high is also very uplifting!
