I was watching an alien encounters type tv show many years ago and remember a fellow in some rural part of the US was finding spiral shaped cones made of some material. He was implying that these cones had some relevance to the alien visits around that area; apparently a major hotspot for activity.
In highschool at somepoint i had developed a lump in my bicep, right in the middle. Often in highschool i would play with it, wiggle it around under the skin and generally gross people out. My parents/GP decided it should be removed and i went under local anethetic. Lying on the table in the hospital, the surgeon easily cut through the skin in a circular pattern(i got to watch the whole operation, it was fun being awake and watching a knife plunge in without feeling anything - crazy scary though)he then removed an exact replica of the spirals this fellow in some US state was finding, except his were foot+ in size and there was this tiny little cone quarter inch long, misshapen and metal-granite looking. The instant he removed that thing has haunted me ever since. (not knowing or ever being alleviated as to what it could have been) Ive never told anyone until this moment now. I remember asking him what it was, and he ignored me completely and put it in little plastic container - i remember it just fell in and went thunk, no bouncing around in the container when he dropped it in; i never got to touch or hold it, but it was probably fairly dense.
im not here to spread conspiracy theories or present new evidence, but this has happened to me, and i do remember a tv show that presented this fellow with cone shaped bits of alien junk that looked eerily like what came out of my arm, and id really like to know more.......
