Sativa for Phantom Nerve Pain?

There's a group of veterans that I help garden. One guy is a double amputee and has been getting worse phantom pains, feels like someone sticking pins in his toes. A couple of times he has smoked some lemony very up sativa and it really helped him, he said instead of pain it felt like an electric massage. Unfortunately he doesn't know what variety it was. I'm asking this question on the ace forum because ya'll seem experienced with a wide range of sativas. Have any of you experience with cannabis like this. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Cactus,Not sure about the phantom feelings. Sativas like Panama are great for positive , happy ,creative feelings. Tikal, CBG Destroyer .Also no come down .That feeling remains for days even when not medicating. The very high THC ,strains like Golden Tiger can be very introspective, which may not be very good for people who have been through trauma. All those Central American strains are winners

He does have PTSD so he doesn't like paranoid type weed, his go to for the depression brought on by his psychological condition is Mextiza, he says its like taking a happy pill, but he still has the phantom nerve pain
