Thank you.

Thank you.

Great job buddy, keep up the good work!

Thank you for the compliment.

Lots of mistakes are being made along the way.

Hopefully the journal can show people what not to do. :rasta:

You've got some really interesting genetics there.

I think so too.

I really haven't done them justice though.

I don't think I've ever heard of those seed companies, however...

Gotta get back in the loop evidently 😊.

Are they local to your area?

No, they are not local.

I'm in an unfriendly state.

I put a lot of research into genetics.

I may of initially heard about these breeders from the pot cast ?

My favorite breeders so far are:

Dominion Seed Company / Duke Diamond
Cannaexotics / Gooeybreeder
Bodhi

Can't tell you how fun these interviews are to listen to:

The phenos all look like pheno-minal😀.

Thanks again buddy. :respect:

Hopefully the laws loosen up soon and I could send ya some clones.

Take care!

Thank you for the kind words...:plant grow:

Hopefully this gives everyone a good idea what they can expect from these genetics in poor conditions.

Stay safe buddy! :dance013:

Day 52 Flowering

Day 52 Flowering

Fuck these lights... :beat-dead

All they have done is gave me headaches.

The buds are the same size as last week.

Decided to keep the tent doors open and put them both down to 400 watts.

Things appear to be worst than last round lol.

Didn't take any pictures because I didn't see the point.

We'll see if the lights are the issue in the next week or so.

Honestly ready for this round to be over. :whiteflag:

You think the Gavitas are causing issues themselves or issues from the heat generated? I’ve heard a couple people say you lose power exponentially when you dim a HID bulb, for example, a 750w bulb dimmed to 400w is probably closer to 300w of light output (totally made up numbers). Instead, you run a 400w bulb with the ballast set at 400w, 600w bulb at 600w, etc. I could be totally wrong and I have never tried to test this theory, but I have heard it more than once so it might be something to take into consideration if you aren’t getting the density you’re expecting. Hope ya get her figured out!:tiphat:

I'm going to do the best I can to turn these around the next three weeks.. :bashhead:

Thanks for staying tuned and have a great weekend. :respect:

Hi!

Thanks for stopping by...

There really isn't any heat in the tent.

I just don't know what to think but...

The house doesn't reek.

The buds are small again.

The plants appear healthy!

Going to have to turn these lights down to 400 watts for the rest of the cycle and hope for the best... :dance013:

I won't be using these lights in the future, unless I have taller ceilings.

Shame on me for not keeping it simple. :wallbash:

Trying to get all fancy and shit lol...

On a positive note, I got some new genetics!

Dominion / Duke Diamond: Delta Blues & Shine Apple.

His Pinebomb is next on the list...

Then I'm done collecting genetics.

Happy Hump day! :moon:

Looking back through the thread, I think your veg time was a tad short. I’m also a firm believer that you should acclimate them to the highest wattage available as quickly as possible upon entering flower especially if moving from a non-hid veg area. I don’t see any signs of heat or light stress, are you seeing anything we aren’t in the pictures? I think if I were in your shoes I would stick with the 3gal pots, give another week of veg and blast those ladies with the light as soon as they can handle it. Don’t give up hope, it’s just a learning experience especially with new lights.

Thanks for the reply... :tiphat:

I was waiting to see what the issue was before responding.

It has only been three days but it appears things are starting to slightly turn around.

Key word is "slightly".

90% sure it's light stress.

I didn't show any pictures from the last two weeks but there's lots of leaves like the following:

attachment.php

The picture from the following link: https://www.growweedeasy.com/cannabis-light-burn

This is not a picture from my grow.

I showed my wife the above picture and she thought the leaves from our plants looked exactly like it, but worst.

I should have given you better pictures for a diagnosis - I apologize.

Hopefully everything is under control now... :help:

Still blown the fuck away it's light stress.

No heat in the room at all.

No heat a foot below the lights.

The lights are 3 feet away.

I will make an update in a week or less, with a definitive answer.

If you respond to this post, throw a link up of your current grow.

I'm sure people would enjoy to see something more dialed-in.

I will say this though...

The Mom Gooey x Cinderella 99 is fucking coated in resin.

Just blown away with the appearance of it.

I also got some new genetics:

Duke Diamond Vault: Skunk x NL5 Haze X SSGH
Obsoul33t: Orange Gum x Alien Tech

Enjoy the weekend my friend! :smoke out:

What's your humidity there? Sounds strange to be having light stress with a 400 3 feet away.... Then again I've never used gavitas either. Do you ever measure your run-off ppms? I just had a problem with salty coco, over 500ppms. Nothing like thoroughly flushing tons of plants, boo! Good luck though, bud. Having problems with the garden is never fun, but solving them and gaining the experience makes you feel even better than a flawless crop. (for me anyway) keep on keeping on brother

Real quick...

Real quick...

The buds did not grow much the last eleven days.

However, they did mature and put on a few crystals.

The yield will be extremely small.

Started cutting down a few nugs today.

See below:

Possibly the same bud ?

Pretty sure there won't be another round...

But if there is, these lights will be replaced with 600's.

More pics and details to come...

Hope everyone enjoyed the show!

Hello sir! :tiphat:

I did not measure the run-off or ppms.

It's hard to check the run-off in this scrog. :bashhead:

The plants rarely get nutrients.

When they do it's Dragon Fly Earth Medicine.

Almost always straight water.

The water has a ph of 6.3.

I believe the humidity is fine, but I did not check...

I will when check next time, just for the hell of it.

Thanks for the continued support!

Throw up a link to your current grow so I have something to look at in the future.

I'll be sure to take notes! :headbange

Stay safe friend. :smokeit:

Chop, Chop Chop

Chop, Chop Chop

Starting cutting down some plants yesterday.

Mainly just a few tops and some side branches.

I think three grow bags have been removed from the room. :tree:

When I look at my pics, I feel the buds all look similar to the first round - except less crystally.

I beat the Jelly Breath and Cookies crosses (Platinum Scout v2 - Forum Cut x Platinum) to death. :beat-dead

Anyhoo, here are a few of the buds!

But wait... There's more.

But wait... There's more.

Initially I said this grow was dedicated to Gooeybreeder...

Despite me running his genetics into the ground as much as possible, him and Duke's gear turned out just fine.

We keep *most* of the smaller leaf on the plant during the drying process.

These buds will be cleaned up.

If there's no crystals on the leaf - it has to go... :Bolt:

All critcism welcome... :whip:

Dispite the light problems, the buds look good! Nice job! I'm about ready to pop some Duke Diamond's Cinderella 99 x Gooeybreeder's Mom Gooey. I'm really interested in the smoke report.
