All together now...

All together now...

So we have a total of 39 plants.

The left scrog is filling in nicely.

The right side has some catching up to do!

The plants started two weeks later are obviously significantly smaller.

Regardless, everything is being put into flower tomorrow.

I decided not to take clones.

So the bottoms got cleaned up real good.

I'm going to re-veg the best plants, take clones off each, and use the clones as mother plants.

I just don't want the number count getting any higher.

Looking good buddy...

That’s the main reason I don’t take clones ... don’t wanna have too too many plants ya know.

Take a look at some of these leaves... :crazy:

It looks like the ends just didn't grow on them.

Almost like half of the leaf was cut off.

Lots of serrations as well.

I'm thinking light or heat stress.

If anyone has any insight please let me know... :cuss:

4 days later and tied down.

4 days later and tied down.

So the plants only got put into flower yesterday.

My partner slacked.

Hoping for males.

Looking to get the plant count down to 24.

I decided to tie a few tops down.

Nothing extreme yet.

Bottoms were cleaned up a little bit more as well. :artist:

Also, there was a slight nitrogen deficiency.

You could see a few of the lower leaves turning yellow on the plant.

My partner said he took care of this.

Time will tell!

So the left canopy was filling out perfectly....

However, I took 6 monster males out of the left scrog yesterday.

3 Dominion G
2 Pinebomb
1 Skunk x NL5Haze x SSGH

This should work out just fine...

There were six plants in between the two scrogs with no home...

And they have a home now. :huggg:

Hoping for 7 more males from the right scrog.

Nothing has been removed from the right so far.

I took a picture of a Dominion G male.

I also took a picture of a Pinebomb male.

Sorry, but only bitches are allowed at my parties. :party:

These were taken because someone requested pictures of the plants removed from HPS lighting.

It did kill me a little bit...

Taking 6 monsters out and replacing them with tiny plants.

However, the goal is never quantity.

Always variety.

16 Males removed so far.

This leaves us with 23 plants.

Every round we have had exactly 22 plants...

So I expect 1 more male.

Spent a few hours removing all of the males, cleaning up the bottoms, filling the soil on the left scrog, and giving them some Dragon Fly Earth Medicine.

I will finish the right side soon.

I will also remove those horrible cups used for labeling and put some real labels on the pots.

Looking forward to seeing if there's a significant difference in weight with the 3 and 5 gallon pots.

A real test will be done with this in a future round.

The right side is cleaned up.

The small runt turned out to be a male.

Thank god. Wanted to get rid of that fucker.

Hard to pull plants for no reason with the price of seeds.

Back to 22 females.

The same for every round... :dance013:

Got rid of the cups and everything has been labeled.

There's a few labels that say "Name of Strain - Maybe".

Got careless and grabbed two cups at a time and forgot what was what... :smoky:

Don't see a point on posting anything else until the buds are everywhere and filled out.

This round appears to be going better than the last two.

Everything is going real nice.

We have two can-filter max pro fans running.

One pushing air in and one connected to the carbon filter pulling air out.

The bottoms were cleaned up again as well.

Not sure if I've taken off too many branches or not, time will tell.

Crystals are already starting to appear.

Pretty happy about that.

I will get exact measurements next week for you.

I would say they are a solid 3.5 - 4 foot tall.

The smart pots range from 8 - 12 inches in height.

Trying to keep as much distance from the lights to the plants as possible.

These double ended lights have me all fucked up.

If this round isn't perfect, I will switch these out for two 600 watts (non-de).

I currently have both of these lights set at 400 watts.

I think at this setting (400 watts) for someone who has their setup dialed in with clones they could get two pounds.

Starting from seed and having to remove males will drastically reduce my yield, and that's ok. :dance013:

I will be keeping mothers from now on and keep popping seeds as much as I can. :headbange

I know I'm making lots of mistakes in each grow.

When you see me do something idiotic, be sure to point it out.

The buds are actually starting to stack a little bit... :dance013:

This grow just might turn out real well after all... :woohoo:

The smell is definitely coming through strong.

The smells are all over the place, from sweet to funky.

Most of the plants are around 42 - 50 inches tall.

Instead of the usual picture of the grow, I took a snapshot of a bud.

This is Platinum Cake - Wedding Cake x Platinum.

did u pinch the buds? ie FIM etc. as can clip the leaf when very tiny and then looks like leaf grew with no tips. or could of suffered damage from water getting caught in the bud and light burning the leaf tip off. that or bugs nibbled the young budding leaf. in this case when i say bud i mean meristem just to be clear.

Nice bro, so far so good! Good luck the rest of the run! I've always been interested in Duke's work so it will be nice to see how they turn out, maybe that will motivate me to get a few packs from this lines! :)
