Popped some F1 x P1 of the bagseed cross.

Switched to canna coco bricks, no more love for the sunleaves brand.

Took cuts of the F2 03 02 x P1 07, and the Maple Leaf Indica.

Of the three F2 03 02 x P1 07 plants in veg, one stands out, flat stem and three per node.

All them cuts from the same plant, wonder how one is flat stem, full bush tops.

All three veg plants of the 07 are hollow stem, very aromatic.

The recent popped F1 x P1 of the bagseed cross are a continuation of the project, a reset, as the previous
popped F1 x P1 plants were undetermined and compromised by gnats.

F2 03 02 x P1 07 of the bagseed cross will be held to cross with a male of F1 x P1.

The F2 03 02 x P1 07 has much good traits, want to explore that line.

The maple leaf indica plant is classic, narrow leaf and leggy.

Fun read DC. :) I really like your cabinet set up, your cloning methods and the simple bubble filter idea. Quick question, what is the mesh size of that stainless filter material?

74 microns, or 200 threads per inch.

Also thanks for reading my thread, I'll look into your gear soon as well.

Thanks man. Looks like some decent results with that. I have some small bubble bags but am often too lazy to bust them out...I really ought to do a batch this fall though.

I've been growing mostly tall sativas for the past couple of years, but am 'Micro Curious'...so I'm going to do a small grow this fall in a 10x14 cabinet I built a couple years back. Threads like this and also Blynx's great work are really helpful. Two different approaches but they both work nicely.

The Maple Leaf in veg cut is rooted, flipped the seed plant.

Flipped three 07 last week, cuts held in veg.

07 plant in flower to chop soon, maybe 5 or 6 grams dry yield.

Thunk cutting taken, donor plant vegging, will flip in a couple weeks.

Seedlings of F1 x P1 up potted in 16 oz cups to the new coco.

Some new genetics seeds to pop soon, summer temps waning.

All plants re potted with the new coco, the old coco spent.

Popped new genetics :

Gorilla Glue X Girl Scout Cookies Thin Mint, from Sweet Seeds

Sugar Black Rose, from Delicious Seeds

Agent Lemon, from Oaseeds

Chopped the 07 plant.

Orange Sherbet plant in veg, cuts taken.

Summer temps gone, plants are better off for that.

*EDIT*

04 plant chopped, not 07

No 04 mum kept, end of line.

New genetics, Maple Leaf Indica and Pineapple Cream Cookies in veg ready to transplant.

The three 07 in veg are good, will top two, veg a few weeks and flip, will keep a mum of the 07.

Will pop chemdog seeds later in the fall after temps cool down.

Got some Agent Lemon too.

Meanwhile, the cross project is winding down, nothing special there, have many seeds to pop, we'll see.

My mistake, I posted Pineapple Cream Cookies popped, when in fact it is Orange Sherbet.

Orange Sherbet plant cutting taken, seed plant flipped.

The Maple Leaf Indica is female, and she stretch much, rooted cutting in veg.

Gorilla Girl seed above ground.

Three Agent Lemon above ground, one of them is a double.

The new genitics will give me many choices for crosses, stoked.

All the new seeds popped, looking good.

Trimmed the Agent Lemon double, now a single.

Lots of pics to post, stay tuned.

All these years growing with coco, and now understand the medium.

Many grows I let the coco dry too much between watering, building salts and chasing deficiencies.

I assumed that under low watts a EC of 0.8 - 1.0 was the go to rate.

Recently I have bumped EC to 1.0 to 1.2, with daily drain to waste to great benefit.

Topped all the plants in veg, already they have shoots at the trim line.

Shared some thunk hashish, great session. Pin under a jar, old school style.

I've flowered a few of my thunk S1 and no herms,
shelved them for future grows, mostly cat piss, and
lower potency than the original with the same long
flower time.

Thunk has much breeding potential.

I have MLI seeds and will hunt for a cat piss and cross with the thunk S1, which presents cat piss.

Not for everybody, but would like to have that profile in my stash.

Thunk in flower, tied down in my sativa plant jig.

MLI in flower smells good, as well as the Orange Sherbet.

Three 07 plants packing nicely.

And pots. I switched to black ones, and read somewhere that white is best for heat control,
but white containers likely cause algea on the inside from light transmission.

White on the outside keeps root zone cooler, so I will apply white contact liner on the outside of the black pots.

Small detail, but in a non climate controlled grow, even a few degrees matter with the root zone.
Not so much with winter temps, but making the adjustment now will benefit the grow when summer temps arrive.

Growing pot is not simple.
