I think the flowering times can be reduced on many land race sativa strains by selection of early flowering phenos
Some of these above do not look very sativa like in appearance to me, maybe from highlands ?
Thanks for the info aces.. yes you are right..

if you take a strain (probably hybridized, a part of those strains derive from the Thai x skunk of Sam) and you continue to select for the shorter flowering, you're preferring skunk genes, and the plants will have the appearance and effect of hybrids,a good part of the original haze on the market is proof of this ...

The seeds are tiny black thai seeds no molting patterns

The only plants Ive ever seen (not mine) were very sativa looking

have never heard of sk1 except thru seedsman recently

If it does have sk1 it was heck of a BX

Or if it was added very recently?

Only way to know for sure is buy some new reg seeds and grow it!

The price of these was pretty cheap last I checked..........

The issue is simple:

On the bar menu there is
  • Strawberry (Thai)
  • Banana (Skunk)
  • Strawberry-Banana (Thai-Skunk)

I do not want any Banana. In fact Banana is poison for me so definitely do not sneak it into my order.

I only want Strawberry.

Every time I order Strawberry I am sold Strawberry-Banana.

It turns out the fine print in the Terms of Service requested at the front desk says all Strawberry orders are Strawberry-Banana but the establishment bfaults their own customers for assuming otherwise.

Naturally people are aghast at the revelation.

The seeds from this size or not are still pure black no pattern

I noticed they have changed the description now

I was under the impression they looked for faster plants and inbred to make a sort of managable thai plant

Pardon my disbelief I should have known better I guess

But at least its an honest anwser

I dont like the answer

I guess Im in denial or hope the seeds I got stashed match the old description

A backcross with skunk or just a straight up cross?

Because I remember the seeds being black as night

If I remember right SamS was saying thai seeds were hard to get out of the brick because they were black and tiny and few and far between

Skunk is something that adds stability and yield not always a bad thing if its done right

Has it always been a skunk hybrid???
