Almost over

Almost over

The c99 room is about another week from finishing, looking back at the calendar it’s on day 60. I decided to flower some of the big veg plants tonight and I planted some seeds last week for the winter search. I started 50 of sincity’s “chimp mints”, 8 subcool “cherrygasm”, 40 greenpoint “cookies n chem”, and 3 freebies called “hellcat”.

The end

The end

Chopped the c99 today. It’s a little unnerving and embarassing how this went. I mean it’s as good as any other run and better than a bunch of my own. It did it’s first 40 days on the simplest one part nutrient I could find and ran unattended for 38 of those. I can’t imagine what could be done with unlimited resources.

A few reasons

A few reasons

First and foremost is so the temp of the feedings won’t be too cold. The injectors were purchased just to keep it going for this trip. Also, I add more than just a couple of inputs depending on what is going on and the reservoirs as well as the pumps and timers were there before the injectors. If I were starting fresh I would probably set it up the same just because it gives you a lot of options, maybe with a 30-50 gallon reservoir per 5x10 instead of the 100 gallons.
I will probably will try a jacks run with the injectors once I sort out some winners from the seeds going. Until then I will mix the reservoirs unless I go out of town.

Wow nice job man. I just went away for a week and came back to a mess. Nice planning on your part to keep everything going. That’s impressive. Keep up the good work

Dried

Dried

It’s got a nice fruity smell and has good frost just needs to be a touch denser.

Yeah

Yeah

And I have had the reservoirs with pumps in place for a while. The dosatrons were purchased for extended stays out of town. The other option worth considering would be an ro filter into a Rez and pump from there through the injectors. The problem becomes too many drippers and sizing a pump to run them. You could use drip emitters but they clog and I would want at least 2 per plant in case of a problem. The other option would be solenoid valves to section off feedings and for a larger scale it would be the answer. For this scale, 200 sites, I like how it is. Having everything plumbed with ball valves to chose what goes where has made it much easier and given me time to focus on everything else. It’s going to be a good winter. Just have to decide what plants to focus on. This is a link to the current pheno hunt.
