I made my nicest to date last night.....low heat, more pressure yielded a more clear oil that had the consistency of warm taffy even when put on my cooling table, so much flavor....
The 2nd press of the same material with more heat produced a shatter like extract.....

Yeah but if you want the cup winning shit, it's with this half budder and super budder sour D. Shit was pure budder straight out filter at 130F with only a 2% yield. Then i bumped it up to 150F with the same filter pack and got like another 10% of half budder that was just as terpy. Then I pressed the rest at about 200 and it was clearly lacking terps at that point. I think I was only using like 1k psi as well.
Heady, seriously, that one pic I won't bitch ablut seeing like 5 times now, that stuff is damn near clear and it doesn't look paper thin either! I got some little nugs in the freezer that were almost dry in like 4 days. I hope to be spitting some clear soon too!

hehe sun i apologize for spamming your life with that pic. it just looks so damn good! i get the urge to take a pic every time i open the packet. oh and it smells crazy too! flavor, potency, looks, this strain is a winner for rosin for sure.
i gotta get a good pic of this lady cane i pressed pretty fresh and she buddered up and smells INSANE like a little debbie's banana walnut bread from the gas station.
i think part of it is i take 8 week plants on the early side (10% amber) an i take 12--14 week plants to like 50%.
the gg4 x fbpk was def chopped on the early side, so probably had more clear and cloudy heads than amber. but the sssdh rosin is amber as hell.
that sour d budder looks heavenly!
