How long does most soil last?

Sorry if this question has been asked before... I have half a bag of Fox Farm ocean Forrest that's about 1.5-2 years old. Is it still ok to use? It was out in a shed for a few months but kept in the house mostly. Thanks.

Yeah ya know what, under the right conditions aged soil is probably better, like a good cured nug of chron chron. Smell it and if it smells bad, you could get off with composting it.
