Spoke with someone from Cutting Edge today as i've read some contradictory info. Im running Pro Mix and i've seen 6.0-6.2 as the preferred pH and the guy at CES told me to switch to 6.5-6.7 pH. Im quite confused ha. Any help? thanks
Go up the scale and monitor the substrate with a problem.
5.8-6.5 is all an acceptable range. 6.5 won't hurt you but I wouldn't stay there for long periods of time.
Plants take up different elements better at different pH levels. The whole range you're talking about is acceptable and its a good idea to move through it "gradually" each watering.
