Cheapest drip system for two 3 gall pots?

A inexpensive submersible pump and a few dollars worth of tubing, fittings and two drip steaks with an $8 smart outlet will work for around $25.

You don't need the airstone/airpump, or the 1/2" main line. You can just use 1/4" line only with a connector to attach it directly to the pump, and then just use 1/4" T's and standard pressure compensating drippers.

Agreed with Fixer. Cheap simple pump on a timer. You could use a 1/2” nipple directly from the pump, with an 8 port drip manifold screwed into it.
3 lines per plant and 2 lines free flowing back to the red to prevent syphoning and keeping things mixed up. Probably get everything from Home Depot for 30-40 bucks.
