Low And Wide AirPots indoors avoid Sativas go tall ?

Hello.

I have soon alot different Sativa plants i want grow indoors in soil.

My plan is let them grow in small pots like 1 gallon .

Anyway i have found these wide pots today.
You can have them 2 gallon and bigger.

Picture shows 2 gallon wide airpot

Can this be good idea try with Sativas indoors ?
More soil, more roots, maybe wide short pots can hold them down in height also?

Anyone here try them indoors for taller Sativas?
Does these pots hold them Shorter than normal height pots ?

I already got airpots. Maybe try cut some of them down to lower level ?

Cultureindoor have them in EU already done from fabric if you like buy the 2 gallon in picture

Interesting looking container, never seen one like that before.

Cannabis will grow it's roots out as wide as possible to increase the plants stability/strength/access to water/nutrients/etc. So if your goal is to keep plants short, you want to use smaller and narrower pots. Wider pots = wider roots and taller plants. But obviously you can grow in huge containers and still keep plants short by topping them/training them, just takes more attention and work.
