Hi fellow UK gardeners

Hi guys,

Came across this site a few years ago and never used it and after a few password failed attempts I'm in! 2017 was when I was last here so hello to all.

Just a little about me, simply an aging grower/stoner who has grown a long time, decades in fact, close on 3.

I like to keep it simple and have the trusty 600w HPS in a 1.2 x 1.2 in soil/coco which is dialed in well and consistently produces the goods.

Warmer weather should be coming in the UK and I'll be starting my first grow of 2021 but undecided on which particular beans yet. I mainly concentrate on Indica's as I have a routine to keep to which suits 8 - 10 weekers perfectly. My routine keeps the jars full all year round from 3 grows per year.

I think I'll have a little dig around here to see what is happening and do any of your guys know of any UK based breeders with nice stable lines?

See ya

:tiphat:

nice AND stable. Well you don't ask for much. Woman by any chance? :)

To avoid customs, the badly name 'Attitude Seeds' have a big selection in the UK. Ipswitch way, if they have a shop.
I used to use Herbies, which looks like Kings Lynn still, but the stocks in Spain.
Manchester ways has a busy shops. I forget...

I can get beans in my town, at a head shop. I wouldn't bother though. Only specialists will have the stock, the turnover and the storage figured out to supply you lots of good beans.

I also have access to a 2" thick catalogue of the things. Do you need 10,000 ? lol

I seem to of missed breeders and gone straight to where stock can be found.

Sonic's a good guy. Known him 25 years. He's done some world tours collecting seeds.

Cheers to all but the big banks you mention are already on my list but crossed off, run of the mill stuff and common if you get my drift.

I was thinking of independent UK breeders if there is any with links if possible.

I've got some stuff by meanbeaz in the UK, Zaffa, Jaffa Caked Cookies and Sunset Seduction which will probably be starting soon.

I also have a fair bit of stuff from the US and more on the way so kinda undecided what to start next.

I'd have to mention Anesia Seeds also, I've grow their Blackberry Moonrocks many times and it's a corker. As is their Slurricane which I have in stock. Trying to get my hands on their new Umme strain, sounds interesting but I see no UK banks with it yet.

The Anesia Slurricane is the most appealing fragrance I've ever known. Stone is nice too but overall, a fantastic plant to grow with decent yields too.

I hear them all raving over the pond about the In House Genetics Slurricane but for the price they charge I am more than happy to stick with the Anesia version. They are a very good bank and all I've grown from them is highly worthwhile.

I'm trying to keep away from the well known breeders this year to see if I can find something nice without the hype.

I'll always have a place for Anesia strains when time comes and the jars are low but for now I'm still undecided but do have a few options when the weather warms a bit.

Been looking at these, I have grown White Rhino from GHSC if I recall correctly but years ago and also know that Katsu Bluebird has made some very nice strains with his pre98 Bubba Kush.

I'd say these could turn out very heavy yielding and real knockout smoke. A nice Indica basically. Do you run the regularly?

Thanks for your input @f-e, much appreciated.

Is there any place I can find more about Sonic?

I'm sure you can imagine, a search brings up a shit load of unrelated results about the famous character stoned out of his mind!

Mostly OOS, regular and pricey too.

New lines coming this year, regs and fem lines it seems but not keen on "sours" really which will be in their 2021 products.

Not for me this one but thanks all the same.

Hello Sal

I have had the pleasure of smoking some of meanzbeanz gear. Im not sure if they are available in seed form but I would highly recommend the Chocalato and Cherry G, they were my favourites. I have also tried the Jaffalato and alien cookies predator cut? They were very nice. The only one i wasnt a fan of was the jaffa caked cookies.

A couple other Uk breeders are Underground Genetics (UGORG) and Lady Sativa Genetics.

I have ran the Super Orange Glue by Lady Sativa Genetics and would highly recommend it, or any of their Orange Diesel V3 crosses if your looking for a nice orange tasting strain.

Heres some pics of the Super Orange Glue from Lady Sativa Genetics

Wow, you have made a very good job of getting those ladies ready. The look very nice and if your say they are nice I will not deny, how can I by the looks of them!

I will have to check out Lady Sativa, thanks.

I actually have a few strains already from different breeders but just waiting for a little warmer weather.

I have enough strains to keep me busy but having a few strains from each of the breeders below, it does make it hard to decide who's first of 2021!

MeanBeanz, I have Zaffa S1, Sunset Seduction & Jaffa Caked Cookies and given your feedback the latter will be put to the back.

I also have a few strains from other breeders, known and not so well known, such as Ethos, Destiny Exotic Genetics, Sun Grown Genetics, Anesia, SeedStockers in name a few.

I also have some interesting fem seeds from a small time breeder in the USA which are NO NAME - (Wedding Cake x Headband) & Cherry Runtz - (Runtz x Cherry Cookies). I'm really not sure about them and could be an outdoor fact finding venture sometime.

I'm all set really but the snow here as of now says otherwise.

Hey Sal, I'm fairly new here too. I just gave a chap some beans to pop, from a guy called double zero, Trifle and Twisted green, plus some other beans from another dude based in the UK. Sonics UK pineapple x GG4 is pretty good.

Sonic only has regs I recall, as with Lady Sativa.

I'm only interested in fems due to my schedule.

Check out ugorg.... theres some lines in the flower times you like...there pretty stable an potent...some of them are done by oldtimer#1'himself...a company thats been around awhile.

Edit, actually there stuffs really hard to find in stock.

Check out connesiuer gentics aswell. They will have stuff your looking for, large variety aswell as fems and regs. Vardant green also will have some good stuff.

. Thanks for the info but lots OOS and many regs too for ugorg.

Was not aware that Connesuier was UK and they do have a nice choice. As too with VG.

As I say do have enough seeds to get going but just waiting on the warmer weather.
