Chided for not paying taxes into the industrial war effort, instead putting the money towards good efforts. I’ll keep a wait and see attitude. It may well be empty words.

Amazon isn’t necessarily the best example with their excessive packaging and distribution model.
The question is socially responsible capitalism possible? Should we be grouping all capitalists together as many want to group all socialists together?

I was in Solona Beach, hitching a ride down to O.B when a bus stopped. Confused, I told them I had no money. The driver told me it didn’t matter. It was a free bus, privately funded. Somebody’s daughter had been hitchhiking and was raped. Somebody saw a need and filled it. I appreciated the ride.
