In Munnar look for a cripple that gets around with a crutch, he is the guy that I knew in 1973 when I was there the first time. His mother and father worked on a tea estate. He walked around to all the farms with me and acted as a guide and connect for me. He knew who grew the best, I found him again in the mid 70's when I returned to Munnar. He will be in his 60's 70's today. People with health problems are the first to use Cannabis, he was a connoisseur that understood Cannabis, and Kerala Cannabis as well as anyone I ever met. All the best Cannabis I saw from the farms was seedless, just a few seeds per kilo of weed. I paid about $3.50 a Ser/kilo, for some of the best commercial Sinsemilla in the world, only the very best Thai might be better. they sold it by the Seer & Tola, 11.6 grams based on the 1833 British East India company Rupee, I still have one, the Seer or Ser is 80 tolas, or 933 grams. They do not grow on small farms anymore because of police pressures, they grow in the jungle, and the quality as gone way way down. And a modern "tola" is now only 10 grams, and I'll bet they want more then $3.50 for it.
Good luck,
-SamS

Now the Evergreen, munnar... is very tourist for Indians, they have cold weather all year, ayurveda medicine.... still not too much europeans around.
I found nice hash in Varkala, sativa high.... and for me the best outdoor landcrace that i tried, better than columbians or mexicans.... was in Munnar,,,, not easy to find. Had to wait 3 days for to find something nice....
Next trip report after two years in Colombia.... Oaxaca :tiphat:
Thanks Sam :tiphat:

Good looks, Thanks for the info SamS. I will let you know next time I make it to Munnar. I am a little sketched out about making across and into Tamil Nadu due to the tension between many of the political parties. My journey continues on the quest to find those southern Indian genetics!

Peace

Ty for your advices Psy

Few years ago I travelled along India, mostly Rajasthan, but also we went down to Goa, and Hampi. Finally we end the trip on Nepal.
In the five months we stayed there, we began paying like 1000 rupees for a tola, when we reached Calcutta we paid 400 rupees for a good tola of charas. I think bargaining is like riding a bike, once u learnt u never forget how to.

In Bombay we aren't going to stay for long, perhaps 1 day. We dislike the crowded megalopolis, so after arriving I expect to buy some train tickets to Goa. There we gonna stay for 4 or 5 days just for prevention. I think monsoon ends on early december in Kerala.

Bom bolenat Bom Shankar!!
