Here is a budshot prior to chopping tomorrow. I'll take some full plant pics and bud close ups under natural light.

A quick few with better lighting. Down at day 56-ish. She didn't want to flush, but I am still a run or two before she and I are in sync. Scent is more layered from my initial comparison of the two runs.

@ Dick Williams - my condolences for your loss, at least what he taught you can live on.
I really like my 2 of these, 4 weeks in and looking and smelling wonderful.

Thanks Outcold for sharing your Back to the Congos before harvest time.

Flowers look dank and resinous! Quite Deep Chunk afghani style, but with much better flower/leaf ratio. Hope you enjoy them! :)

Hi Baron Greenback,

I'm glad your Back to the Congo have a promising development and aromas in mid flowering. All the props go to richard williams and Tom Hill for the breeding of the strain,we at ACE have only helped with the distribution.

BTW, we have only a few packs Back to the Congo packs left at our website.

Thanks dubi, I'm happy to be corrected :)
I automatically assumed it was yours because of the all round loveliness that it is :)
Deeper respect to Messrs. Williams and Hill.

Hi All,
Back with a couple more pics of my Deep Chunk leaning BTTC. The buds pictured have about a month cure on them. This round was definitely better grown and am enjoying that fact in the smell and taste. This current plant is about 20 days into 12/12. She doesn't stretch more than about 33%. I took her out to dust a branch with some Pie Face pollen. Figured I'd give ya a quick pic.
I have no real direction with combining the two strains. I had the pollen, and BTTC was at the right age.

Just a little further smoke report from this lovely strain. Nice yield, very glad I grew it. Have mostly enjoyed her in a vapouriser.
The smell seems really fresh and citrussy to me, lovely taste on inhale. Really nice high, long lasting and stimulating - just a great strain for doing pretty much anything at any time of day or night.
Thanks very much Mr. D Williams :)

I bought a pack of these last year but didn't find space for them in the garden so naturally this year they were a priority! I popped 5 seeds, all germinated but I quickly lost 2 to damping-off, oh well. The remaining three are doing wonderfully, with surprising vigour for a backcross.

I'll keep posting my progress here. Peace, TEC.
