HELP! Mama w/ cancer hates the taste of canna oil

Hi Canna Fam. My ma has stage 4 breast cancer, she is not doing well. She just got out of the hospital with double pneumonia last week. I am having an issue with her being strict about taking the “alternative” medicine. My parents are very good about the pills :canabis:

and what time she has to take them. Unfortunately my mother will only take the canna oil and cbd oil when I am there begging her to ingest the medicine. So she becomes like my four year old daughter crying with fear because she hates the taste of the canna oil. I’ve got edibles for her but she is barely eating anything and I am going to start giving her coconut infused capsules to hopefully kickstart her hunger and keep pursuing the higher dosage of the oil. Is there any way to mask the taste or what else can I do to help? :canabis:

They will work just as well no matter which end they go in.
Won't be any 'flavor issue ' if one goes the back door route.
Explaining the above with a perfectly straight face may help.

... for some reason the high is better down south. Definitely not a "trippy" high, nice, mellow and relaxing. Goes right to the bloodstream!

Capsules to swallow- we use #1 size gel capsules as they are not as difficult swallowing compared to #0 or #00 capsule size.

Also, try suppositories. You can buy molds for that purpose, about $15.

Infuse with coconut oil then mix with a tea drink. Suppositories are the real magic. Using rectal dosing bypasses the liver leaving out the pyschodelic effects of cannabis. Its also supposed to get to the organs better this way.

As posted already, get yourself a gel capsule machine and some blank capsules.
You can find it cheap on eBay or Amazon (around 25$). If you buy additional blank capsules be sure to order the correct size matching your machine.

i'll second or third the capsules. if she doesn't like the taste, that will solve it. getting your mother (regardless of how sick) to let you push something in the back door might be a bit of a fight.

It is absorbed, it's absorbed through the mucus in the intestinal tract. It don't get you high because it bypasses the liver. Meaning you can use higher doses without feeling wrecked. It's meant as a way to medicate not get you stoned lol.
I believe it's already prescribed in this form too in some places.

There's plenty of information on this subject online.

Why does it taste bad? Cbd market is not regulated, but common sense says safe, effective quality Cannabis derivatives should taste good. Humans evolved parallel to Cannabis, if the body finds displeasure in it, it is not medicine for her, the outlier, or the product is not up to par for human use.

She has never liked the taste of cannabis or the smell for that matter. I know she likes the high feeling. The canna oil tastes like high concentrates with that sticky feeling. Unfortunately as my mother has grown older and sicker she finds a lot of things she doesn’t like.

RSO (or the like) will taste bad due to the concentrations chlorophyll which is also extracted along with the cannabinoids. This doesn't mean that you won't get a benefit simply due to the bad taste.

As others have already said, use capsules.

two things i've found mask really well together.

Coconut oil and Cocoa powder or butter.

so my suggestion is make capsules and use raw coconut oil + cocoa butter as the "filler" oil.

this will make the capsale "taste" like a fancy chocolate (not exact, but similar), only issue where the Taste will be an issue is when burping.

To avoid that, you need a baked product. I would suggest something simple like banana bread with cocoa powder added. Some patients will experiance pulsing, to avoid this mix fats. go against normal baking logic, don't cream your sugar with the butter. infused the fats evenly (fats meaning butter, coconut oil + the eggs in the baking before mixing in dry stuff) and mix the sugar and extra cocoa power with dry before you combine.

It Has A strong Cinnamon and Mure taste......

And only need two tiny amounts the size of a grain of long Rice

Holy Oil is both stronger and more effective than RSO IMO
