He was a heavy cell user as was I. My tumors are two different types. Non Glioblastomas thank god.

Cell phone scare me now. I also had a friend pass several years ago from brain cancer. He was a heavy cell user plus lots of short wave handheld radio use.

We are bombarded everywhere we go with RF and micrwave energy. Think of all the WIFI etc we are surrounded by.

Whether or not you believe in his politics, you have to respect a man who spent 5 1/2 years as a POW.

After he was shot down, the North Vietnamese eventually found out who his father was. They hoped to score a propaganda victory by giving him an early release, but McCain refused this offer unless every other prisoner would be released as well. What followed was regular periods of abuse and torture. He was finally released in 1973.

McCain is just a man, beloved by many for his service to his country,
and reviled by just as many for his choice in running mate in the 2008
Presidential election.

His illness changes none of that.

Cancer does not grant a person any magic immunity for one's shortcomings.
Plenty of cancer patients are asshats, yet we should still give a show of sympathy
and compassion.

Humility, honor and simple human decency seem in short supply these days,
and the shit posts in this thread offer ample proof of that.

John, like us all has many shortcomings.
He always had the opportunity to leave early - under certain conditions- because they knew his family history.
As we all know, he came home with the rest of the POWs.
Anti war as one can be myself, but I also have cancer and have no problem at all wishing him the very best.

Described as a "beer baron" because of her role in her family's company which goes back to prohibition days, John has used her wealth as a personal war chest to fund his campaigns when fundraising from voters came up short (often.)
Wife Cindy personally made large donations to the effort to reject AZ prop 205 to legalize recreational cannabis, while receiving a sweetheart deal from the DEA to get out of using a non-profit org to obtain drugs for her prescription pill habit.

Watch the videos of mccain telling wheelchair bound veterans and cancer patients that he opposed medical marijuana in his 2008 and 20012 campaigns for president. When pushed on the issue, his cruel arrogant nasty side comes through.

I don't wish that anyone die, but there are many that feel that way about McCain, and they have good reasons to feel so strongly about him.
His personal effort to permanently seal POW/MIA records from the Vietnam war should be enough by itself.

I think he killed (by burning to death) and injuring by burning over 100 men on that Carrier.

He did a hotdoggin wet start, where you pump up the fuel so when it fires it shoots a huge long flame out of the back and looks really cool.

Except that the deck was still full of men when he was showing off, and flames shot out of the exhaust and burny many men to death. He was worse than the VC.

Then while men like Admiral Stockdale endured torture and said nothing, while punks like mccain hobnobbed with the VC officers to get good food and not get tortured. so fuck him.
