Growing cannabis in a legal state from out of state

Hi, I couldn't find much information about this, can I just move to a legal state, buy property and start growing in that state without being a resident of the state?

I am wondering about this for any legal state.

Research plant counts. Lived in SO CO before and after legalization. Knew beforehand, the max grown. Bought a home, so yes, we could grow what CO deemed.
