I have not tried it, actually I'm running DE CMH in my Gavita flex now and it seems to work fine.

If you want slim check out the Nanolux 1000 CMH, very shallow and mine is crazy bright.

These have some nice features, 3 reflector options, etc.

I just got these lights... man they are sweet......weigh nothing (8 lbs) and are bright as hell.. only downside is you cant adjust the wattage manually ...

You need the Gavita light controller and wire it up to adjust or overclock it 1150.. Id rather run it at 1000 so its not big deal ...but for anyone else that could be a huge turn off..

Is removing that option from that ballast how they were able to make it so small?
