Then let it stand to room temp. :)

I will use 1.5 teaspoon next week to one gallon water :)

well i will help to calculate how much cal/mag you need ;)


first you should know your tap water cal:mag values


how much is 1.5 teapsoon in grams? i think it will be too much.



you need about 100mg calcium / 30mg Magnesium per litre of water


look 1g epson salt in 10 Litres is increasing of 9,86mg per litre


so 1g in one gallon 3 Liters will get you about 30mg/per litre


most people say to aim for a ratio CAL:MAG 3:1 or 3:2


like 100mg calcium per litre and about 30-60mg magnesium
