Is there any source that actually gives the definitions of the different stages of the processing?

My understanding of the whole tree process for creating CBD:
__________________________

Hemp Seed
Hemp Plant (stalk/flower/leaves)
Raw Crude (straight from extraction)
Crude (dewax/decarbed)
Distillate (purified? how?)
- Full spec (with all he goodies and THC)
- Broad spec (some goodies and 0% THC)

(ISO powder)
__________________________

Am I way off here... still unclear what "distillate" involves.

There's CBD in hemp seed??

Distillate is what you get when distilling something. You'll want to look up the chemistry definition of distillation, and info on labware distillation equipment.

Your tree assumes hemp seed as the starting point, but many growers grow from clones, whose gender and viability are more predictable.

The plant has trichomes on the flowers, leaves, and stems, but they are sparse on the stems and fan leaves.

Distillation typically means short path distillation to Clear or Distillate.

Full spectrum means extracting and preserving the C-10 through ~C-55 components, guts, feathers, and all.

By ISO powder, do you mean Isolates?
