My total cost for one strip was about $50. The light out put at 18 inches is the same as my 630 CMH has at 4 feet. No heat build up at all.

get two or three of those strips to light a 4x4 area. Your biggest issues will be: is this too much light? and what to do with all the money you didn't spent on the fancy pants lighting set ups and electricity bill

That light setup seems like a good fit for me on my next grow. I'm also going to move it down from 8 plants to 4 in order to try to up my per-plant yield. All these little guys will smoke just fine but I'd like to see bigger buds because I'm shallow like that!

Just an update. Harvested today and put the plants in the tent to dry. Can't wait to take the dry weight just to see. Living in a dry climate I'm concerned that they'll dry fast but the tent seems to be holding humidity pretty well.

I would definitely look into LST and topping on your next grow, it does wonders for keeping your canopy even. Those plants look like they did some hella stretching during your first weeks of flower. Sativa heavy hybrid?

So after a quick dry, the results are in... a meager 82g dry total. I learned a lot on this go around. Here's to improving on my next grow!

Right now I have a Jedi ace flowering under a 400w LED pannel in a 2x2x4 tent. Using topping and LST to try and maximize yield. We shall see.

W3rds, ya man the seeds are from a sour kush batch that herrmied.
