Powdery Mildew - safe to use for edibles?

Edibletrific

Hey guys,

Does anyone have experience making edibles from plants with powdery mildew (grown outside, only visible on leaves)? I have a few solid plants with this and would prefer if they didn't have to go to waste. I know powdery mildew is not safe to smoke, but is this a safe way to ingest?

Thanks much.

Welcome to IC!

If you're making cannabutter go for it.

I've had perfect results with qwiso and cannabutter using cannabis with PM.

It's not that you can't smoke it but the smoke tastes like moldy crap. YUK!

Yes, you can make edibles using PM ridden buds.

If there's not too much PM you can still smoke it, just gotta give it an h2o2 bath and change your drying method for a day. Cervantes has a great little video about how to do that on youtube.
