more chat issues

ok kid got a new laptop, windows 8. Ive tried all the things suggested in the forum and still cant access chat, get the green screen, Im at a lost and need help, missing my chat family...help please, tried internet exp and firefox.

explorer wouldnt allow me to whisper in chat ... so i downloaded "Opera" ... everything seems to work well with it . As well as can be expected from an old 49 ford :)

So we are going to have to use IE to use chat?

Can I download opera and chat work in firefox?

I been getting green screen for a few days now, hasn't resolved itself as of yet...

Opera is a separate browser, it worked for a while, now I get the current adobe flash message when I have the latest edition, Im back to using chrome, it works most times....good luck
 
Something needs to be done, it's ridiculous that I should have to download and install another fucking browser just so I can chat.

Skip, I'm callin you out, mang. Do somethin.

how does the server close w/o sending any data..why cant this chat be fixed...irritates the hell out of me..all browsers have trouble...damn what gives?

The problem isn't with the chatroom. There is nothing there to fix.

The problem is the browsers have changed, so you need to figure out how to get in, using whatever browser you have.

You must tell you browser it's OK to load the page since it has mixed content (https + http), which is what all the browsers object to. This is usually an icon on your browser bar that pops up warning you of this situation. This seems to now be a multi-step process depending upon your browser and its settings.

Unfortunately no other chatroom will work well with this old vbulletin software.

evrytime i reconnect or get out and try to connect...

No IP Change helps, flush cookies do not help.... help me pls
