This strain is a dream to grow. Its so easy, there's a good amount of variation, and its finishing super fast (as advertised). I highly recommend it for anyone, like me, who has no time for their garden because these babies take care of themselves. I CANNOT WAIT to run this strain more fully when I have some new digs.

Thanks for checking in everyone! Hope you enjoyed.

Dood those look really good. They also to my untrained eye look longer than 9 days out.

Thanks my friend, I'm also taken aback by their dashing good looks.

In retrospect, I went a bit lighter on the sarcasm than I intended. I was just poking fun at how the advertised flowering time is often a week or two short of reality. They're getting there, but I highly doubt I'll be taking them down next week. I learned my lesson about trusting that info a long time ago lol.

They're starting to frost up nicely Gumby. Dont be shocked if some of your plants need 70+ Days to finish.

The variation is showing a bit more now. I can definitely see one or two taking 70 days or more. My production area is a 70-73 day cut, so that's fine by me. The more variation the better!

The trichome coverage is pretty impressive, I must say. I can't wait to turn it into hash!

yeah, looking more like 60 days to me.. A later harvest is better than an early one IMO..

I always let things run a little late. Sometimes I call it patience, sometimes I say I don't want harvest because they're so damn beautiful, but I think it could very well be more about being a lazy stoner lol

Honestly, guys, I'm not the best at determining when to chop, so any advice I get will be golden. I'll post some magnified trich pictures from now on. If you want to stick around and help me out, you'll have a friend for life :huggg:

Sorry for the slow replies, my life got too busy for a journal immediately after I started this thread, but I'm seeing it to the end regardless. I can't thank you all enough for sticking it out with me. What a great community.

Over the years I grew this line, Ive found it very easy to separate heads from plant matter, with only a gentle tap on nugs or stems to cause an avalanche of resin gland sometimes. Id have to be extra careful when trimming buds or Id 'lose' alot of resin glands. Several times I remember pulling plants from the drying closet to trim up and Id watch as hundreds of heads fell from the plant with barely any agitation. If you dry the buds out even more before hash making, its gonna separate even easier. Easy line to work with for hash making.

I always advise going longer than you think you need. I usually shoot for 1-2 weeks past what I think is necessary just to see what type of further development occurs over that period. Sometimes its worth it, sometimes its not, but it helps narrow in the flowering time for future runs. Besides if you've already invested 60-70 days, whats another week or two?

Looks Really great

Remember when they say 'x amount of days flower' they are usually talking from when it starts flowering not when it was flipped 12/12

And it can take two weeks or more to get started

45 + 14 = 59 days...... somewhere in there

Nice Golden hairs Hope she keeps stacking for you!

Day 49

These ladies are killing it right now. They keep stacking and stacking and stacking (and stacking). My biggest regret is losing my magnifying glass! Damn it!!!! Here's some shots from two nights ago I'm finally getting a chance to put up. Get ready to drool!

These pictures were taken on day two of getting straight r/o water. They seem to be beginning the final phase before harvest.

THE MOMENT WE'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR.
The ladies are getting to that point where they reward us for our love and care. I'm pulling the mother load of close ups for this one. All the ones I'll be keeping (thank god for good friends!) are getting a small pheno review. I obviously can't comment on smoke, but growth, structure and scent I can comment on.

PS: I'll also include the one Krumbled Lime female I got in case a Karma fan sees this or if anyone has the same freebie I got and is considering tossing it in the rotation.

Here we GO!!!!!

:woohoo:

SHIT 4 - Sour chemicals

Moderate growth rate
Pretty floppy late in flower

Smells really damn good. I keep smelling it every time I come in here. It should be an instant favorite. Its so frosty - can't wait to finally make some dry sift!!

MY POST GOT DELETED!!!!

SHIT 3 - Sweet
Fast growth rate
Floppiness level: critical (cannabis-nerd pun intended)

The reason this one looks blurry is because I had to stretch my arms all the way out to get both heads in shot. Use my thumb for size comparison - these are THE BIGGEST things to ever be produced by my nursery lights.

This thing would have snapped some time ago if it were under my 1000W (this is 438W). It just never stops stacking. I hope it takes forever to finish, and turns into a true "donkey dick" pheno. I can't wait to see these two in jars (can you geuss which two are under the center of the t5ho panel? LOL

I just want to note that my allergies are going mad, and the only way I can smell is to eat hot sauce to clear the sinuses for a quick few minutes.

If any of you fine folks ever have that problem, just remember to reach for the hot sauce. Nothing works like capsaicin.

SHIT - General variations
Floppiness doesn't seem to be much of an issue for the specimens that don't produce over-the-top humongous buds, as you'd expect, but overall I'd say the stems are more on the pliable side, but not extremely so. They don't require securing until late in the game.

The following are shots of what you can expect the average plant to look like.

Most of them tend to have a unspecified sweetness to them. The only plant that smells unique to a significant degree is my #4 smelling of sour chemicals. I can't say there is any large degree of musk or stank at this point besides the occasional whiff of something awful which I cannot pinpoint to save my life. Maybe I just need to shower more lol.

I'm hoping the scents develop more after a cure, but I expect what Dave Coulier implied is true, that there's much more variation comes out in the later generations. Other than that, though frostiness does vary, it tends to be farther on the sparkly side. Its so sticky that my thumbs keep sticking to my phone as I try to type this.

Krumbled Lime

This one has a primarily chemical scent with a citrus undertone that isn't sour or sweet - if that makes any sense. This plant has been an absolute breeze to grow. I've forgotten its there many times, as even later in flower it requires no attention.

If the nugs look small, they aren't. The SHIT buds were all on the large side (with the #3 and #4 being the freaks of the lot), whereas the KL looks how most plants I finish under these t5hos look. That being said, the nugs are rock hard. I'm amazed at how there is no give at all when squeezed. I don't want to start any flame wars, but ime my buds come out a little bit larfy when I run t5s. These are the hardest buds I've ever grown hands down.

The structure resembles most kushes I've grown and seen. There is zero floppiness and the stems are pretty sturdy, but as with my other kushes I've ran, it may require some support under 1000 watts.
