That's straight from the Anslinger playbook. In fact, I would not be surprised if he didn't lift it straight from the writings of Anslinger.

Wow, that’s scary. And this guy makes law? I would really like to see him back up his statement with some scientific evidence that African Americans are genetically predisposed negatively to the effects of cannabis.

I’m surprised he didn’t also say, “This marijuana causes white women to seek sexual relations with Negroes, entertainers and any others.”

Back to the 30’s? WTF, this is 2018.

Rep. Steve Alford is just following his party's beliefs. It should not surprise or shock anyone, we saw them marching in Charlottesville in their KKK hoods and waving Nazi flags.
At least he does not try to pretend that he is any better than what he really is.....
