TK's Fall grow thread.

I am going to do a consolidated grow thread that covers the entire selection of plants I have in this fall run. I will also post in the respective vendor forums if they are their strains.

So here we go, I have moved 18 plants into the flower room this morning onto the 3x3 flood table and the mix goes like this:

2-Raspberry Creme(Newlines)
1-Great White Shark(Newlines)
3-K2(Nirvana)
1-Northern Lights X Kush(Newlines)
3-Lifesaver(Bog)
3-Grapefruit (Heirloom)
1-Herijauna(Reeferman)
1-Ultimate Moonshine(JLP)
3-Willie Nelson(Reeferman)

Today they are getting strait water with no ammendments at all. They start on their 12/12 light schedule tonight at 8.

I will be using Pure Blend Pro bloom, Cal-Mag, Liquid Karma, Silica Blast, and Top Max bloom boost from Bio Bizz.

I flood about 30-45 minutes every 3 hours when the lights are on and one time for about 30-45 minutes during the lights off.

I have a dual 600w(1200w total) hps air-cooled fixture with a 440 cfm vortec fan drawing into the attic space.

The Willies are the only ones that will run long I think but I also have the Raspberry Creme which is a sativa pheno and 1 indica lifesaver and 2 sativa phenos. So i might end up with 7 plants that could potientially run long to like the 80+ day mark.

We are off to the races

This should be exciting...

I love the system you're running TK. I'll probably be going that way before too many grows, I'm still using a DWC system for a bit.

Meduser, this is a clone that I got from a Canadian gene pool that a member had here, so it might be the same strain that you sent me.

I am going to run some your beans this fall for sure.

Added nutes last night for the first two weeks of flower. I added Pure Blend Pro bloom and grow, Cal-Mag, liquid Karma, Silica Blast, and Top Max. They are already showing new vigorous growth.

I mixed the bloom and grow formula equally at about 10-15ml per gallon(total), add Liquid Karma at about 5ml per gallon, add Silica Blast at about 1ml per gallon, add Cal-Mag at about 10ml per gallon, and Top max at 5ml per gallon. This is basically a half strength mix compared to bottle recommendations in some cases.

This mix brings my initial ppm in 38 gallons(40 gallon res) to roughly 1000-1100 on r/o water and 1200-1300 on tap(depending on area, mines like 190ppm) I run this mix for one maybe two nights which is about 4 to 8 water cycles and see what they do. You'll see real quick if anything is amuck.

Remember that I am at 1400-1600ppm coming out of veg, so the quick 1100ppm is nothing to them. I like to let them catch their breath with a weak(approx 60%) nute mix, then I crank it up.

So I let them go for the day or so at 1100ppm and if all looks good, I ramp it up using the bloom and the topmax to bring it up to the desired 1300-1400ppm's I am looking for in the first two weeks.

I watch the plants because I know that PBP is weak in Cal-Mag, thus the ammendment, and I can regulate the amount of Cal-mag I add based on there appearence and growth rate. I usually add at like 3-5 ml per gallon, very little but you can watch the impact right before your eyes almost.

Hydro works fast, when you screw up you see it fast and can correct it fast, when you do good, you can see it and dance for joy faster and more frequently.

The third week is a different nute regime but I will post that then.

Tex, can you describe your table setup... pots and medium for this grow?

A shopping list would be great ;)

I use a 3x3 ebb & flow table with 5.25" square pots.

The media and the best thing ever is Ready Gro from Botanicare.

I buy the Ready Gro one or two bags at a time and the pots I usually get 5.25" square pots 30 at a time.

So Tex the Ready Gro does well in hydro huh? I was keeping up with BG's thread before he got popped. (made me go buy a Vaportech). So does it stay settled when your table is flooded no run off or anything? I'm thinking of using it in my NFT. Is it heavy? Let me know.

After the first flood cycle it pretty much masses into a tight unit. I do get mybe like 50 or so of the little perlite looking things in the tank but they float so they never get near the pump.

It will fall out the bottom holes of a pot for a bit until it clogs up.

I transplanted 18 plants in like 25 minutes, which is rockin for me

Yo B, pm me an addy and I'll send some to play with
