:mad: I was out tonight and three units had all small branches up to about 15" snipped off and the bark chewed away. I doubt that a deer would have worked so close to ground level, but it's possible. There was a little pile of leaves and little branches at the base of each, neatly done. I was not prepared for that and could leave only soap spray, strong coffee spray, and human urine as discouragements. Tomorrow (or soon) each stalk will be covered in rolled up 80-grit garnet sandpaper. Let the little futhermucker chew on that !!!
