If you like the African x Panama sativa combos, then i would recommend you to try Panama x Bangi Haze in the future, which is a favorite of mine and of many friends around here.

Actually I grew 2 Panama x Bangi Haze in the 2017 season. I saw good potential there but I don't think I got the best from it in 2017. I think I got slightly off phenotypes. Sometimes that happens. Last year I tried Bangi Congo x Panama in a 150 liter smart pot.
From that I decided to try again in the ground more seriously this year. It seem to have worked out pretty well except that I applied a bit too much of a strong top dressing in August which seems like it burned some branches a bit. I'm sure those branches will yield a bit less, maybe 25% less because of it.

Yes, Panama x Bangi Haze is a bit more finicky with the high temps and feeding due to being quite Bangi Haze dominant in growth.
Panama x Bangi Haze' flowering time is also longer, usually finishing in the second half of October.
On the other hand, Bangi Congo x Panama is easier to grow, tolerates better the variations in the temperatures and feedings, and finishes faster, in the first half of October, it's also better yielding.

It was a pleasure to grow... here’s my experience...
Ok so first of all you open the jar, the smell is delicate with hints of vanilla and floral notes, little lemon, really pleasant.
It’s extremely sticky.
It really kicks into gear once you light it.
It becomes pungent with a sour touch (not lemon anymore). The smoke is smooth and round with that same little sour twang and leaves a nice incense aroma in your air passage.
You instantly know that you are going to be high by tasting it. It fills the room quickly with a beautiful incense smell.
It’s intense to start with and can be a little overwhelming as it practically hits you instantly. You will launch into some sort of activity 10 minutes later without fail. I usually find myself dancing or cleaning.
Music or nature is essential.
It’s great to focus on specific tasks although it’s very easy to forget what you were focusing on as you are already focusing on a new subject.
It’s complex and very powerful.
Your usual quantity smoked will probably half with the ConPan.
It’s a hard one to analyse...

Here's my latest Congo x Panama which took a lovely purpe colour with rather cold night temps. For some reason she nearly stopped flowering after i moved her from one corner of the grow tent to the other, weird...
Super strong lemon scent about a week before harvest (done at 10 weeks), gone by then, but it's coming back while curing. Plant grown in a 3.6lt pot.

I would recommend you to prune the upper branches prior to flowering to improve side branching and light intensity all over the plant.
