nice facility,

The rockwool cubes are sitting on the trays for the smaller cloning cubes? is that in order to protect the roots from light once the matt up on the tables?

Im glad you asked about that. Frankly i am surprised at the lack of interest surrounding the trays, your the first to ask. I dont know of anyone else who uses them either.

First, i do it for drainage, it helps break the water tension in the cube and they drain around twice as fast as sitting bare on the table.

Secondly, i do it for the ridiculous, fat, white, fur covered root growth.

nice, very cool rigging.

After awhile does it grow under the trays and lift them a bit?

*edit* also how do you source them? just leftovers from cloning over time?

They go into slabs or RDWC from there. ill have pics up of slabs by the weekend.

We bought them. Best 8 dollar improvement (per table) you can make to a grow imo.

lol more questions, sorry but its not every day I see something new.

Whats the re-usability factor? are they easy to cleanup and reuse after?, i mean i know its a matter of of just cutting the roots, but do any grow so tight you gotta toss em?

Cubes slide off and on with ease, and the trays can be reused until you break them accidentally. We bleach everything in the room weekly and the plants get bleach or h202 once every 2 weeks so they are reused.

Absolutely the first thing i noticed breezing thru the first few posts were those trays and immediately imagined the roots that would be shooting down into that moist humid zone underneath. A neat idea & a new trick concept ...good one !

Wished i had better experiences with slabs in the past , for they themselves always seemed to hold too much water themselves but was more of a factor of the strains i was trying with them not being as vigorous rooters as a problem with the slabs . Always hoped they would make a slab with a little more drainage or water repellent properties , one could always drip/flood more often . To have exactly that same airation to to nutrient ratio as you've achieved initially with those cubes over the trays .

Have a good source for these ? They've gotten quite expensive but so has everything lately ,
( thank you Mr Bernanke for printing all that new worthless monopoly money !)

Looking good, Was wondering if u could break down spurrs formula into ur feedin schedule. Im currently switching over.
Do u run the same formula, veg-flower?
(I forum dived ur post here and already read about the cal-mag and epsom switch off)
thats the kind of things im looking for.

Can u also elaborate on ur feeding system, looks F&D but doesnt hurt to ask.

many more question to come once you log on for know im gonna finishing going over ur post and Shrrooms, and Spurrs stuff and beat this concept into my head lol. just hoping u can help speed that up.
