You really did them justice!!!

Thanks Karmic...you will not be disappointed by any of the plants you mentioned. I'm curing the purple x hybrids now and one was super chunky and had a great nose...i hope the smoke is on par. The gsc s1 plants are an unbelievable score for sure...once you grow out a few you will see what everyone is talking about. Very unique taste and smell...uber potency from the two I pulled. I think the notion that clone only elites are the only worthy plants to grow can easily be refuted with many of the offerings from breeders retail. I have found many great plants that rival or surpass the local dispensary offerings...fact.

So did anyone get any actual purple buds from Chimera? Some pretty nice looking plants in this thread just a lack of purple.

I think Jah did state that that they were run at high temps. Could be wrong but with cooler temps I sure some of the plants might of started to purple.

This coupled with the fact that the Jack father pollen might be dominant, you might see a lack of purple. Remember, just because the mothers might be full on purple vars, this trait might not turn up in hybrids. I'm sure a search through these lines might bring up some purple expressions.

I'm running a couple of the ones that made it back into the grow room. My summer run was crazy hot and nothing purpled but that was due to environmental reasons. My temps are favorable now with night temps about 14 degrees cooler so I should see more color changes this time around. I'll post in a couple weeks as they just went in. The gsc s1 started to purple towards the end. A few other members have some nice pics of with complete change.

Yeah, that is true, I believe I did hear that the Jack was a fairly true breeding plant so his genetics will probably be more dominant.

I kind of figured he would have used something else for purple strains. I know there are a few breeders making purple plants that will turn regardless of temps not very well known breeders but with all the new American breeders coming out it's pretty hard to become well known.

Overall I really like the line. I found a fantastic plant from a few females that was potent, tasty, great high, and at higher concentrations very psychoactive. The plant was activating and gave me gobs of energy which lasts and lasts... Great daytime smoke for getting things done or socializing. Had a sweet kushy taste with the Jacks pineapple profile mixed in. The one I kept was one of the stronger plants from any of the Jack varietals I've flowered. I lost her at the beginning of the year due to extended absence from the garden. I miss her but I have more seeds to go through so I'm hopeful to find another winner. If not, I pulled a marvelous gsc s1 plant to fill the void....ay dios mio!
