Hi

Simple question.
Maybe hard answer it maybe anyway?

Lets say GREEN HOUSE SEEDS - LEMON HAZE
this has won many prices.

This is unqie sativa loved by many tokers.

How long does it stay so?
FOR LIFE? or do they got outdate soon or already?

How do they do to keep this strain as one of the best sativas still?

i Know Arjan and Franco /RIP walk alot in jungles before.

To keep that strain and the profile, can they make new seeds forever now ? and they stay same ?

Maybe need walk again to those secret places pick up new ones?

The NATURE gives good stuff after couple thousand years i know.
Otherwise we did not have good weed at all today.

Nature still brings best we know.

Is breeders going of that after 10years? can they still produce that amizing stuff they did in beginning ? '

Or must them walk again to jungels catch fresh from same place before ?

How does this work ?

old cuts example, are they good, or bad today?

Cuttings maybe get out of date ?
Seeds never if done same as in beginning?

Fresh but old genetics works how long seeds from breeders?
how long does cutting do it?

Fresh made seeds from old genetics is better than old cuttings ?
Maybe same?

Is there a best before ? can it be saved for years making it right? many old breeders has the same today and they are good as in beginning?
if they dont change owner or so ?

My english is not good, sorry
Hope you understund :)

If seeds are kept in climate controlled storage,
then viability is near 90% up to 10 years+.

Cuttings from healthy donors are more perishable,
up to several weeks in climate controlled storage.

Breeders can maintain parent plants indefinitely,
thereby producing good seeds of that chosen line,
until a parent is lost.

I have seeds in my freezer from 1989 and a ton from the '90s that I am still getting 80% germination from. I've never had a problem with freezing them. I know some people have different experiences. I think the key is making sure your seeds are thoroughly dried before freezing.
