I had some old seeds from Kona, Big Island, Hawaii; that were labeled "Pine Death." Only 1 sprouted, and it had 2 very unusual genetic traits. The first of which, can be seen on this picture if you look closely.

Question: Why show the clone, if you already grew the plant from seed and have grow pics from last year?

Answer: To show, in this thread, the pre-flowers in the plant's vegetative state.

Same plant in veg, showing pre-flowers. Clearly, those are pistils, so this must be a female plant, right?

But this plant, has both male and female pre-flowers.

This plant is quite a novelty, having duck foot leaves along with male and female flowers. So, I took a cutting and it's still going strong. It doesn't have much use other than for breeding.
