SSL Certificate Message

Good morning,

Just wanted to let you know that Firefox spit out a "Don't go to that website they don't have the latest certificate" message this morning, something about it needs to be at level 1.2 or something?

Message also said the next version of Firefox will no longer accept certficates that aren't up to the new standard.

Yeah - we are aware of this - and are currently in testing to move the site and upgrade to a newer version of VBulletin - with an updated certificate - which should take care of it -

The site in in the middle of an upgrade so some strange stuff is happening. Once they get it all updated and complete, all those errors should go away. Not sure how long until it's completed.

I hope IC support take it seriously, more security is better for all of us...

Best do your own security measures on your home computer than rely on a website to handle it for you. Use a trustworthy VPN at a bare minimum. Any data on the internet can be stolen

Yes, VPN is must have, but that kind of service as IC need to be secured beter - old TLS need to be change...

Yeah - we are aware of the problem - and are in the process of upgrading the VB software to be able to run a SSL certificate that firefox will like -
