Well, this is a picture of my outdoor plant (bagseed).

I don't know what to make of it.

Did I photograph the wrong spot ??

The wind has been blowing like crazy lately and the whole plant was bent over getting battered.

I'm thinkin if it had any pistols they were broken off.

I'll try to take some better pictures.

My indoor plant is getting pretty tall so I screwed in 4 bulbs with globes and turned them sideways to give the plant more headroom.

I've got one bulb facing down with no globe but I think I'm gonna leave it there.

I may not need to top my plant.
It'll grow right into the bulb and die off.
Self topping plant.. ??

I'll keep an eye on it.

I don't want to start any fires.

I decided to top the plant and screw in a bulb with a globe facing down.

It's probably a safer thing to do.

I took some more pictures of the pre flowers.

This is one of the other plants.
It's from an Haze Extreme regular seed.

Appears to be a male....wait and see of pistil emerges....

I think you're right.

My other plant appears to be a girl but I don't see any pistils yet.

I was just gonna grow the boy anyway to watch it grow but I was talking to a neighbor and they said every second house is growing weed now and they wouldn't appreciate me polluting the nieghborhood with pollen so I will be cutting the boys.

Welcome to Canada EH !!

Things are different now.

My indoor plant is doing pretty good.
I figure about another month left to go.

My outdoor plants are doing OK as well but I'm pretty sure the best looking one is a boy.
I'm going to wait until I see bananas before I chop it to make sure.

The bigger of the other two is showing pre-flower white hairs but the runt doesn't seem to have any visible pre-flowers.

Thanks !!
I figure another 2-4 weeks and it should be done.
I'll keep an eye on the trichomes.

My biggest concern is bugs or disease now but she seems healthy so far.

WTF !!@?

I cut the "infected" buds off ..!?

Does anyone knowxwhat this crap is ??

I'm hoping mold and not spider mites.

I'm pretty drunk right now so I will inspect this in the morning.

Looks like botrytis which is usually caused by lack of air flow and too much humidity.

Pick the moldy stuff off and throw it away, do not smoke it.

Carefully inspect any buds that you end up harvesting as that stuff spreads fast and can ruin drying buds too.

OK Thanks!!

I have both a lack of airflow and high humidity.

I will install a fan for my next plant.

I picked the moldy stuff off and will not smoke it.

Am I better off harvesting sooner than later ?

I was going to let it go for another few weeks but now I don't know.

Yep, what blynx said. Botyritis, or "bud rot." Increase airflow, lower humidity, and/or use genetics that give you buds that are more airy than dense.

Don't harvest several weeks early. It'll be useless. Just fix the issue... put a fan in there, and try to deal with that humidity.

OK.
I do have a fan that I should be able to install without disturbing the plant too much.

I just checked the humidity with the lights off and it jumps to 80% at 76° F.

When the lights come on the humidity drops to 40% and the temperature goes up to the high 80's F.

I'll stick it out until the plant is finished.
I'll check the tricomes when the lights come on at 4pm.

I carefully inspected my entire plant and found a few more buds with mold.

I did manage to install a fan though so I hope it's enough to keep the mold away.

I just checked my plant which is nearing the end of it's night cycle and the humidity is down to 60% with the temp at 75° F.

We are in the middle of a heat wave outside with very high humidity so my numbers look a lot better considering, and should improve when the outdoor temps. return to normal.

I will do regular inspections for mold and I hope I fixed the problem.

I checked my outdoor plants again and the two smaller ones appear to be girls.

The big healthy one is still looking like a boy (assuming I'm actually looking at the pre-flower?)

It does look a lot like this doesn't it ??
