please get a proper extraction rig at some point so you're not creating a giant pile of trash of spent butane cans...

i agree with you from an ecological standpoint hope i don't get any bad karma from the landfill where they end up .. i don't like closed loop , they are clunky , overpriced & slow contraptions , my way is better and much faster & i can stack up the end product against anyone else anywhere (who uses the solvent method) .. we are talking about BULK processing , i use tubes that can hold 450g per run ( i have many of them)..the top & bottom end caps can seal so you can get a soak before you release ... my tech is solid i have tricks up my sleeve and the process is fast that's included vacuum purge ..my sh*t is clean ...its not solvent-less & i realize this can be a touchy subject for some of you ..I'm very confident in my abilities have been doing it for years ....they always want more ...textures and consistencies are strain dependent , but i always end up with nice clear slabs ...the fresher material produces clear yellow slabs , as the material ages the slabs get darker , but that's only color it don't make much of a diff to the peeps heads

Bummer on the dog licence, Star. We have this snooping lady in our town that will go all the way around your house and look in your windows to see if you have any pets. What a chooch. We had to go to court, but the judge was a dog lover and threw out all of the cases. Man, that lady was pissed! She started getting uppety with the guy and he pretty much told her to go fuck herself. We all had a good laugh. Pretty much the whole town. From that day on, I decided not to have Shadow licenced, he's above the law! Even the judge knew it was a scam. I get all of our shots from Tractor Supply, and administer them myself.

finally done....should forestall the whining about needing more veg space for a while...most likely the 1000w lamp and the 4x4 will get moved into the workshop once it gets cooler..

I just picked a Triangle Banana, a AK47 x Strawberry Bubblegum, and a Dubbsaw. I can feel the resin on my arms. They all had some good weight, but the AK47 was so damn heavy, it kinda strained my back. Fuk, those buds are big! My garage has plants hanging everywhere now. Time to spray some more cologne.

That Dubbsaw plant had some hard nice nuggs, totally encrusted with trics. that might be a good replacement for the dub plant. looks like it might have some nice bag appeal, and easy to trim. fukin sore back...

What up fishsticks?

We put our house up for sale Saturday last week, and we accepted an offer on Thursday! :woohoo: Gonna be 60 days until everything is in order to sign for the construction loan on the house we’re gonna build. So we don’t have to move until around then. And then we’ll be renting again until the build is complete.

Definitely gonna be building a 30x40 “workshop” at the same time the house is being built. That should be more than enough space to grow a few plants. I can only get the builder to do so much though. Don’t wanna raise any eyebrows by asking him to do stuff like putting 240V outlets every 5ft on the ceiling in rows! Lmao. I’m definitely gonna ask for floor drains.

Hopefully 10ft ceilings should be enough to run 1000w de. I’d like to do a mixture of hps and led. Definitely wanna have a separate veg room to overlap while other room is flowering.

Here’s a pic I found on capulator’s site that looks about how I want it. It’s a 40x40 though with two bloom rooms. But I’m thinking I can squeeze all this into a 30x40 minus the 2nd flower room.

If anyone has any advice or suggestions for the construction part, fire away, I’m all ears. :tiphat:

Grats on selling your house and your future build.
Your design is way out of my league. But if I was you I would hit up Cecil Crabtree, he seems to know his shit. He turned garage into a bad ass grow room in like a week. He started a thread over at Caps place.

Like unc said tell him it is a wood shop. You might also have him install some 6 inch ducts in the walls for vents. Tell him it is for you dust collector to shoot wood dust out side.

:smokeit: and here's some observations from watching other people go through this...

it's more work than you think...
partners almost never work out...
it's hard to find good trimmers...
it never works out the way you think, most people are waaaaaay too optimistic about yields and what you're actually going to get paid for it...
whatever you estimate for build cost it's gonna be at minimum 50% more and take twice as long to complete than you think...
don't go for too many lamps, better to keep it a little hard to get rather than flooding the market and killing the price...once you go low no one will want to pay higher prices again...
have a plan for everything, from bringing in the medium to getting rid of all the trash at harvest...
make sure you have a market for what you grow before you grow it...

I won’t be running all 8 lights in the flower room at first. Gonna work up to it.
And I did the partner thing years ago...oh it’s horrible! Lol.

I was gonna go with a 40x40 but decided to go with a 30x40 to save an extra $20k for unexpected cost.

I’m building it on over 7 acres in the middle of the woods, so shouldn’t have a problem getting stuff in or out. Disposal of stuff is covered as well.

I’m getting 8 to 12 zips a plant now under 1000w se bulbs. So that’s all I’m hoping for even under de’s.
