If you believe that the Democratic party is the same as a hundred and seventy years ago you should educate yourself.

If you think that you can compare modern day American politics to 1930s German politics you would be more able than ever and I encourage you to do just that.
So, in all those resistance marches and other protests against trump, all the people wearing said so it emblem were right wingers? Good to know. I guess I was confused.

When trump burns down the house of representatives, let me know and we can start debating about the rise of fascism and nationalism in Germany.

Unite the Right rally.

Look it up.

Snubbing the entire country in regards to the infrastructure bill over an investigation?

National emergency to pay for a wall he said he had covered?

He hasn't burned any house of Congress yet, but that obvious lack of respect seems eerily similar.

Another thing, last I checked Jim crow was only 70 80 years ago. Not 170. Also, which party provided the votes for the civil rights act which was 60 or so years ago.

Just because the Democrats have used identity politics very effectively to their advantage after Johnson's great society does not make the champions of black folks.

Oh, and when was old Jim Wallace prohibited from standing in the way of desegregation by the national guard called in by president Kennedy? Surely not 170 years ago. But I will educate myself. If you can see past you bias, maybe you should too....

Facts are stubborn things, aren't they ?

I know all about the United the right rally and the spin applied by both sides.

Trump being Hitler, he would just have his opposition knifed. Like Crystalnacht.

Im glad you asked, in the constitution it says our right to bear arms shall not be infringed. The ability to protect yourself against another armed threat is not a cost but a gain. The chances of getting killed by a mass shooting is actually on the bottom of the list according to the statistics. The chances of getting killed by a gang member is higher but since they don't follow laws anyways I think I will keep my guns.

Especially when you ignore others just to highlight the ones you already think you know.

PS During the Night of Knives Hitler eliminated the last of his socialists.

It has already been infringed. Maybe a few times.

Maybe for a few reasons.

The day you use a gun to eliminate a life from all others you may speak of gain at no cost at will.

I'm not against gun ownership and advocate the acquisition of such for protection, hunting, and good old shootin BUT if you think I support killing to fix the problem I do not.

More bullshit pissing in the ears of Americans, like the old Democrats will take your firearms on the right. Fact is, no one can take our arms without a constitutional amendment. But that doesn't stop the right and NRA from whipping up support eith said lie.

Like I say, two sides of the same coin.

I see you conventionally left out the Hitler quote I posted about him bitching about liberals when you quoted me.

You know when the parties fully switched?

October 26, 1960. MLK was jailed. JFK made a phone call to MLK's wife Coretta King and told her he would do what he could to get MLK out of jail and his concerns for her and MLK.

October 27, 1960. Coretta King told reporters JFK had called her about her husband being in jail and he would try and help her. She also said Nixon never called her. That same day MLK was released from jail.

Up until 1960 Africans Americans voted mainly for the GOP.

Because of that one phone call to Coretta King JFK went on in that election to win and received 70% of the African American vote.

From that point on it was the Dems presidents who pushed the civil rights bill. And on July 2, 1964 Democratic president LBJ signed into law the civil rights act. He did get a lot of votes for the bill from the GOP side since the deep south dems were still stuck in their ways.
