Off grid grow

That's a lot of watts for 40oz man !
Don't you want to build a room in a room and use some reflective film on the walls ?
Especially since it directly translates into your gasoline bill, you could easily make that room a little more effective I think ? What's with the wind generator?
Don't take this the wrong way, I love your cabin grow and especially liking the first aid kit. Growroom safety is always a priority ;-)
All the best,
cC

Hey Chevy

I might be overdoing it on watts but canopy thermometer ranges between 75 and 82 and down to 65 during lights out. Also the cabin is On grid with 220 volt service, and all 1600 hps watts are running on 220 saving me a little on electric bill. Connected to the grid the cost is 4 to 5 times cheaper then running the generator. The 40 oz is on the low end estimate, but 80 would have been possible if I hadnt damaged the plants within the first few days before I got the room dialed in. I also suffered thripes until a heavy dose of neem oil knocked them out. Wind generator will have to wait till summer. The room could definitly be more efficient. Its a work in progress and the flat white kilz has some reflective value.

Thanks bub

Soooo.... In the grow room was significant droop this morning. I turned a couple lights off and turned one of the hps down. Only have 1400 watts on for now until I see the plants fan leaves start pointing up again. I dont have a par meter, but its very possible some bleaching occured. Only been growing for 4 years and I still have a lot to learn.

Pistil buttons forming 8 days in.

Put the 5 in the 20 gallon under a scrog. Defoliated and tucked.... I'll give them a few days to a week for lower branches to catch up while the tallest branches are weeved horizontal.

30 days into bud. Dropped a lot of leaves and still have lots of yellow. I think I may have over watered a bit. most tops are 3/4 inch across and fairly dense. Kept wattage at 1400 since the last post.

Got a single gg4 seed popped and in rockwool for my first attempt at DWC hydro under 200 watts t5.

Going to flip this scrog +2 into bud today. 500 watts DE hps. Not as much tucking on the canopy as usual, but a couple rounds of heavy defoliation.

Harvested this ugly bitch. They cant all be super models.

Think it was some heat stress in combination with over-watering. Dropped too many leaves and the buds were dense but small. The rest of the girls are looking great and have 2-3 weeks left to go.

Cut a few down average 1.5 oz. Not great numbers so far but left the bigger plants flushing longer at 63 days now.

This one might be 8 oz +.

30 days into bud on the 20 gallon scrog and the two in 3 gallons of dirt and smart pots heavily trained and defoliated at 3 weeks bud.

Drifted snow has gotten too thick to drive to the house; now we use the snow machine.

Largest single plant yeilded just over 3 oz. The large one I was expecting 8 from yeilded only 5.75 oz but was 2 plants. I was doing great and I got off track somewhere so Im going back to my original soil mix... worm castings perlite fox farm ocean forrest dolomite lime. This last run of 12 plants yeilded 19 oz.

I had a few strains out of this last round that I really liked but I dont have the seeds so im trying to reveg them to take clones. I also made a 500lb soil order for the next round.

Here is one Im revegging with lots of popcorn left on it.

Here is a closeup of one of the popcorn buds with a reveg nug I accidentally cut off.

And a plant that was stripped of all vegitation and sprouted this new growth.

This canopy came down. 14 days flush , but I had a light interruption at week 7 and chopped at 62 days to avoid any more Hermie looking growth.

Ended up getting 12 oz from 7 plants. The plants starting to go back into veg did not hurt the quality with such a long flush just the yeild and potency.

I think it's called Monster cropping.

Ive got a handful of plants vegging and a couple recovering from mites, and the gg4 has lots of roots in the dwc bucket, but the canopy on top could look better.

Here are my veggers. I cut a an 18 pack in half long ways lined it with a garbage bag, put a heat mat under at 85 degrees and only had a couple clones that didn't root. Anyways the plan was to transfer the clones to solo cups but the roots got so intertwined that I just threw the sod into a 20 gallon and started wiring the plants down to fill the voids in the canopy.

I went back to my original mix with ffof soil 40% perlite 40% and worm castings 20%. I also add fine grade dolomite lime at 1 cup per 5 gallons of soil mix.

These girls in the 4 by 4 both had mites, but after much defoliation, azmax and neem oil foliar spraying the mites are completley gone as far as I can tell.

My heating mat for clones went out so I'm trying to use the top of my t5 veg light as the new heat mat. Lined top with plastic and put 2 inches of dirt under a humidity dome. First run the soil was too hot at 88 degrees f and I think black gold works better for clones then ffof; so Ill try to put a thin buffer under this next run to lower the heat to 80 degrees and use different soil.

The 20 gallon had a nice growth spurt so it gets the whole 4x4 at 600 watts hps. Defoliated top fans and tucked the rest.
