There is different Lucerne.
Pellets, and finer.
Also

This is cheap.
15-20 Kilos / 5gallons Less than 20 euro/dollar

Melasses is good.
Can i have this Lucerne made for horse with melasses.

I can buy this local. Good quality brand over here for Horses i know.

How about dosages?

1 Mix from start in soil. How much i need this to One Gallon Soil?
2 Do i need or can i use it also with watering? Mix and let it bubble?

Chopped or pellets?

Maybe you can also mix this with water in drinkmixer and let it bubble ?

The molasses needs to be UNSULFURED

and make sure that the Lucerne is not treated with pesticides and/or herbicides.
They will destroy your organic grow.

Best would be to source your Lucerne (alfalfa) from the farmer so you can ask and know exactly how they grow it. (do they use herbicides such as roundup?)

I never got alfalfa from a farmer, I buy 40# bags for about $13. Look for natural or organic alfalfa for horses, should say sun dried alfalfa or something similar and avoid the molasses that is not what you want.

Side question, my bag of alfalfa is old and the pellets have turned a darker brownish green. Did this alfalfa loose some of its goodies or nitrogen content? I have no problem using the rest to start a compost pile and get more.

Hello all ICmaggers again.

iM happy read here that you people try always help me.

It must be pretty fresh green if you mix it in to pots you want give microlife, vitamines, and other good things.

That yellow you need throw in compost and recharge that way.

Many professional growers have use this kind of feeding in many hundred years before
and they got very successfull.

I know this is good.

I am curious about the amount. can i have 10% of this mixed to my soil?

i know this can make good tea also.
You need mix it before in mixer maskine
And then make tea. Wait till it got white bubbles before feed
1-2 days this takes.
Super good Microlife , Vitamins and other good stuff.

"Alfalfa" where I hail from.

Afterthought Auto Company Boss told me about this .

This is a good organic thing to do.
Use less animals.
More Alfalfa
when you feed

This is old good metod actually i think we all must start do this.

This is good for the future

As far as I know Lucerne is alfalfa. Its easier to find information on alfalfa.

You can tea it up.
Ferment it and you'll get some bubbling from co2 escaping.

I don't use air for fermentation, but I do air it out afterwards.

White bubbles are more like soap bubbles from saponins in the plant material. Different plants will produce different bubbles.

They don't really mean much as far as microbe activity.
The saponins are good for the soil.

i Feel good about this.
I start now feed 20-30% less animal nutes like Guano.
I try Use this 20-30%

Dream is someday in future use 50% less Animal feeding.
+50 % of these natural things like Alfalfa / Lucerne

Where weed grows naturally, there is no Animals pooping.
Only Worms, and Oweed

Yep there are plenty of goat, sheep and cow farmers throughout cannabis's range and those mountain ranges have been farmed for a minimum of 5000 odd years..

Alfalfa is 3-1-1, 2.5-1-1, or 3-2-1 npk depending where you look, has saponins and triaconantol with it as well. Saponins are a big bonus and enough of a reason to use on its own, especially in peat media.

I use it in container mixes, on veggie garden, and to feed the deer in winter.
Wouldn’t be concerned about it changing color because it will do so in a day or two of full sun.

Unfortunately there is a patented variety modified to accept glyphosate applications, not sure how widespread its use is outside or inside U.S.
