Can somene tell me what would be the earliest month that I could start an autoflower grow in S. California? I received some freebie seeds and want an early as possible start next year.

Too early=small buds thought...sun isn't that intensive

Can't say for sure for SoCali but guessing sometime in May or very late April would be the earliest. Here in CO, June is our earliest.
What are your avg high/low temps in April & May?
What's the sunrise & sunset times during those months?
Grab a local farmer's almanac - should have all the answers for those questions.
